🚨 URGENT: Rambo Needs Us ❤️‍🩹

Found near the entrance of Shangri-La, Rambo could no longer walk and was in a very critical condition.

Thanks to Katrina and Alvin for reporting him, and to Chona and Darla for rushing to help, Rambo is now safely at Neko-inu Vet, where he is being treated and boarded.

The vet says his condition is critical and deteriorating. His body is severely weakened, and he is facing multiple serious health problems.

🩺 Rambo’s Diagnosis & Findings

• Only 11.6 kg — he should be around 16–20 kg
• Heavily infested with fleas and ticks
• Tapeworms present in his stool
• Low immune response — his body is struggling to fight the infections
• Low red blood cells, hematocrit, and hemoglobin
• Low platelet count
• Positive for Anaplasma blood parasite
• Positive for Babesia canis blood parasite
• Very low protein levels and severely malnourished

Rambo is in a very fragile state, and if he is able to fight through this, he will have a long road to recovery. ❤️‍🩹

We want to give him that chance. 🐾

Please help us with Rambo’s veterinary treatment and boarding expenses. Every little bit helps.

🐾 UPDATE ON OUR INJURED BOY, LOKI❤️‍🩹

⚠️ Warning: graphic injury photos

This sweet boy has survived for weeks with devastating injuries, believed to be from being hit by a vehicle.

Rescued by Darla from Boracay Cat Adoption Treatment Sanctuary (C.A.T.S.) , he was first brought to Roldan Veterinary Clinic and has now been transferred to Neko Inu Veterinary Clinic in Nabas for further treatment.

Both hind legs and his tail were badly injured, with one leg severely broken and infected. He weighs only 2.3 kg and is anemic, so he needs time to gain strength before undergoing major surgery.

For now, he is receiving antibiotics and supportive care. The vet plans to remove the dead portion of his leg under mild sedation, followed by a full amputation once he is stable. His other hind leg may also require surgery in the future.

Despite everything, he is eating well, sleeping comfortably, and is such a sweet boy who loves head pats. 🥹❤️

One kind person has already sponsored his care, but hospitalization, medications, and surgeries will be costly. If you’d like to sponsor or help with his treatment, please message us. Even a partial sponsorship helps. 🙏

🌐 Our website and GoFundMe links will be in the comments or bio. (You can donate one time or set up a monthly recurring donation. 🙏)

Please drive slowly and BRAKE FOR ANIMALS. 🐕🐈 A few seconds could prevent weeks of suffering.

Thank you to Darla and Boracay Cats, the team at Roldan Veterinary Clinic, Neko Inu Veterinary Clinic, and the kind person who has already offered to help this little survivor. ❤️

⚠️ TRIGGER WARNING: GRAPHIC IMAGE / INJURED ANIMAL ⚠️

🚨 URGENT SPONSOR NEEDED 🚨

This poor cat has suffered a horrific injury to the leg and has just been rushed to the vet. 💔

The leg is severely broken and damaged and will need to be amputated. Right now, the priority is to stabilize the cat, manage the pain and infection risk, and get him strong enough for surgery.

We urgently need a sponsor — or several people willing to help share the cost — for the veterinary care, stabilization, surgery and recovery. We do not know what the cost will be yet but please message us if you’re willing to help.

Despite everything this little one has been through, there is hope. Cats can adapt incredibly well after losing a leg, and with treatment, this cat has a chance to heal and live a comfortable life. ❤️‍🩹

A huge thank you to Darla for stepping in and making sure this cat got to the vet immediately. Once stabilized and through surgery, we will make sure this little one has somewhere safe to recover and a plan for the future.

🙏 Can anyone help sponsor this cat’s emergency care? Or help with ongoing monthly food & shelter care?

Even a small donation will help us get closer to covering the vet bill. If you can’t donate, please share this post — the right person may see it and decide to help.

📲 GCash: 09674624773 (K*V)
🌐 Our website and GoFundMe links will be in the comments or bio. (You can donate one time or set up a monthly recurring donation. 🙏)

We will post updates as soon as we know more from the vet.

Meet Banana, the Sweetest Boy! 🍌💛🐾

This week, we’re shining the spotlight on our wonderful boy, Banana! 🍌🥹

Banana is joyful, friendly, cuddly, and wonderfully easygoing. He’s not too demanding—he’s simply happy to be around his people, receive some affection, and be part of a family. 💛 He’s truly an all-around great dog, and honestly, we’re surprised he’s still waiting for his forever home!

We believe Banana would be a wonderful addition to your family. 🥰 Not quite ready to commit? You can also consider fostering or even an adoption trial to see what it’s like having this sweet boy in your home and in your heart. 🏡❤️

Banana is:
✅ Vaccinated
✅ Dewormed
✅ Neutered
✅ Ready for his forever home! 🐾

All he needs now is someone to choose him. Could that be you? 💛

Message us to inquire about fostering or adopting Banana and give this sweet boy the loving home he’s been waiting for. 🍌🐶

UPDATE: Recent Dog Capturing in Boracay

First, we would like to sincerely thank everyone who shared the video and helped it go viral, everyone who commented and raised their concerns, and everyone who contributed donations and sponsorships. ❤️

Because of your support, the video reached many people, and they were able to get the help they needed. Dog capturing happens frequently in Boracay, but this time, the video helped bring attention to what is happening and allowed more people to understand the situation.

A HUGE THANK YOU TO Cris Fernandez ,Home of Paws, Home of Paws Aklan, Nina, and Rica for stepping in and helping. 🙏❤️

They were able to save 36 dogs and 9 cats, with 4 already claimed by their owners.

Unfortunately, there is another serious issue we need to talk about. Some dog owners in Boracay have the habit of giving up their dogs when they can no longer care for them. There are 20 more dogs expected to be surrendered, but thankfully, Home of Paws Aklan has agreed to take them in.

The only reason they can take these additional dogs is because they will first work on finding sponsors and support for the first batch of 36 dogs. They cannot do this alone, and they need our help.

🐶 ADOPTION IS IMPORTANT — BUT SO IS NOT GIVING UP ON YOUR PET

If you have a dog or cat, please remember that surrendering them is not simply “giving them away.”

If animals are brought to the pound and are not claimed or rescued within the required period, they may be euthanized after 5 days.

Please don’t send your pets to be killed. 💔 Your pet depends on you. They deserve a chance to live.

❤️ WE STILL NEED YOUR HELP FOR THEM

You can help through ADOPTION or DONATION.

Donations may be sent to Home of Paws:

GCash / Maya: 09163018059

BPI: 0786127418

Account Name: Milagros R. Relator

For donation confirmation or if you need assistance, please message HOME OF PAWS HOMEOFPAWS AKLAN directly.

Every adoption, donation, share, and act of support can help save a life. 🐾❤️

THE REALITY OF STRAY DOGS IN BORACAY: THE CURRENT SITUATION

Several dogs were captured today, and some are even wearing collars. Behind every collar could be a family searching, waiting, and hoping their dog comes home.

If you recognize any of these dogs, please check the Balabag Action Center as soon as possible. You have 3 days to claim them, with a ₱2,500 claiming fee. Please help them get home. 🙏

If you’re in Boracay and are able to open your home to a dog, please consider adopting from the local pound. And even if you can’t adopt, sharing this post can make a difference. It may be the reason one of these dogs is recognized and reunited with their family. ❤️

We sincerely hope that the authorities and decision-makers in Boracay will consider more humane and sustainable ways of managing the stray population, including CNVR (Catch-Neuter-Vaccinate-Return). We understand that stray animals are a difficult issue, but we believe there are ways to address it without putting innocent animals at risk. We need solutions that are humane, compassionate, and focused on the root of the problem.

There will be FREE spay/neuter and anti-rabies vaccination from August 31–September 3 by Veterinarian Mission Boracay . Programs like this can help prevent more unwanted litters and, in the long run, help manage the stray population.

A little disclaimer from BAARC: We are a non-profit organization with very limited resources. As much as it breaks our hearts, we cannot rescue every dog we see. We wish we could save them all, but we simply don’t have the capacity to do so.

This is NOT a donation drive. We are sharing this because we care, because this is difficult to watch, and because we hope this reaches the right people and the authorities who have the power to make a difference.

These dogs are not numbers. They are scared, confused, and many of them are simply looking for someone they know.

Please share. Please help us reach the right people. And please, let’s find more humane ways forward. 🐾💔
