Happy Dog Mom’s Day to all the amazing volunteers, adopters, rescuers, fosters, and every woman who gives love, comfort, and a safe home to a furry soul. 🐾💛

Moni Needs Your Help 🐾💛

Moni’s vet bills have now reached ₱8,960, and we are asking for help to continue his treatment and recovery. 🙏

There is good news—his repeated CBC showed that the infection has already subsided. He is still anemic, but thankfully no longer at a critical level. His appetite remains very good, and his p**p is now formed, showing positive progress every day.

Our little Hawaiian cutie pie can also be discharged from the vet today. 🥹💛 While we are so happy with his progress, we still need help covering his medical expenses and ongoing care.

We are also hoping to find a monthly sponsor for Moni to help support him throughout his recovery journey after discharge.

The last video included was the very first report sent by the rescuer when Moni was initially found. Seeing how far he has come makes us even more grateful for everyone helping him fight and heal. 🥺💛

Mahli is Looking for Her Forever Home 🏡

This week, we’re featuring Mahli and hoping someone will open their home to this joyful girl. 🐾

Mahli is pure energy and happiness rolled into one big, lovable pup. She’s playful, a little cheeky, but listens well and is always eager to learn. A true bundle of joy, she brings life and laughter wherever she goes. ❤️

She lives for cuddles and attention—once she starts, she won’t want to stop! Mahli loves walks, food, and all kinds of treats (her favorites 😋). And did we mention? She recently won 1st place in a 2KM fun run 🥇🐕‍🦺—our very own superstar!

Moni Update 🐾💛

Here’s a quick update on our brave little fighter, Moni.

He is now eating 3x a day and always finishes his meals. Moni is becoming more interactive—barking, playing, and showing more of his personality. Best of all, his temperature is now stable even without the heating pad. 🙏

However, his stool still has a slight tinge of blood, though it is already formed. We’re closely monitoring him as he continues to recover.

Moni is getting stronger each day, but he still needs our support to fully fight through.

Moni needs us 🤍

A concerned citizen reached out after finding her in Tambisaan, unable to stand, too weak to eat, and fighting just to survive. 💔

Now safe at the clinic, Moni weighs only 0.9 kg. She’s battling severe anemia, high systemic infection, mange, ticks, and internal parasites (hookworm & roundworm). Her condition is still critical, and she’s not yet stable enough to be moved to the shelter.

We’re doing everything we can to give her a chance… but we can’t do it alone.

Current expenses so far:
• ₱1,770 – urgent vet care (Boracay)
• ₱2,000 – transportation (rescue + transfer)
• Ongoing – confinement, tests, treatment, medications

Every peso goes directly to saving her life.

Mahal is Looking for His Forever Home 🏡

Mahal means love in Tagalog—and he truly lives up to his name. He’s our little love bug ❤️

He loves belly rubs and thrives on attention—he’s happiest getting cuddles from volunteers and visitors. He was found on the side of the road with a broken leg, mange, and a fever. He had never been touched due to his skin condition, and now he’s the dog in our shelter who craves cuddles the most 😊

He is:

When beautiful souls collide 💫 ✨🐾

This past weekend was something truly special for BAARC.

We welcomed , , and to our shelter in Boracay—where they spent quality time with our dogs and extended generous support through donations, gift cards, and dog food 🥹 🐶 Then in the evening, we celebrated and bonded at .beachbar.boracay ‘s Reggae Rescue Night, where Antoinette and others performed and filled the night with positive energy. 🎶

What made it even more meaningful was the way our community came together. Our volunteers showed up in full force—welcoming visitors, supporting one another, and filling the shelter (and the weekend) with so much love. The team felt whole, connected, and stronger than ever. 💛

A special thank you to all of our volunteers, and especially , whose presence really helped connect and bring people together in such a meaningful way. 🥹 🐾

This past weekend feels especially meaningful as it marks two years since BAARC was founded, and what a journey it’s been! We’ve helped rescue and rehabilitate so many animals and are incredibly proud of how far we’ve come. We are grateful for every person who has been part of our journey. 💓💓💓

Congratulations to our raffle winners, and thank you to everyone who made Reggae Rescue Night such a success. We can’t wait to do it again ✨🫶
