Meet these two adorable sibling cats, Gamay and Sexy 😻. They visited us today for ovariohysterectomy (OVH) and did amazing!

💡 Why is OVH important for cats?
✔️ Prevents unwanted pregnancies
✔️ Eliminates the risk of uterine infections (pyometra)
✔️ Greatly reduces the risk of mammary tumors
✔️ Stops heat cycles, yowling, and restless behavior
✔️ Helps cats live longer, healthier, and more comfortable lives

Spaying is not just about population control — it’s a major step toward better health and wellbeing. We’re so happy to help Gamay and Sexy start this next chapter safely and comfortably 💕🐱

✨ Inday, Our Resilient Little Fighter” ✨

Inday came to us with a heartbreaking condition called eye proptosis — a traumatic forward displacement of the eyeball from its normal position. This is a serious emergency that causes severe pain and swelling, and needs immediate attention to prevent further damage.

Unfortunately, when Inday arrived, her right eye could not be saved, so our veterinary team performed an eye enucleation (removal of the eye) to relieve her pain and prevent further complications. Her left eye had already been lost months earlier due to the same condition. 💔

Despite everything she’s been through, Inday’s spirit remains unbreakable. She continues to wag her tail, trust humans, and show us what true resilience looks like 🐾❤️

INDAY is a reminder that every rescue deserves a second chance, and quick action can make all the difference.

Meet Cale – Our Brave Little Fighter! 🐾

We recently had the pleasure of caring for Cale, an adorable feline who was presented to our clinic with a pink to red, fleshy protrusion from the a**s. Upon examination, he was diagnosed with a re**al prolapse.

Cale received appropriate medical management and treatment on the same day of admission. After days of observation, he was discharged in stable condition and is now doing well 🐱❤️

Re**al prolapse occurs when one or more layers of the re**um protrude through the a**s, appearing as pink or fleshy tissue. This condition requires prompt veterinary attention to prevent complications and ensure a successful recovery.

💡 What causes re**al prolapse in cats?
Re**al prolapse usually happens due to persistent straining (tenesmus), which can result from:
💩 Gastrointestinal issues – such as diarrhea or intestinal disease
🚽 Anore**al problems – like constipation
💧 Urinary tract issues – straining to urinate can also cause prolapse
🦠 Parasites or infections – irritation and inflammation can lead to straining

💡 Owner Tips for Prevention:
• Monitor your cat’s litter box habits — prolonged straining, frequent trips, or abnormal stool consistency may signal a problem.
• Maintain a balanced diet to prevent constipation or diarrhea.
• Ensure your cat is on a regular deworming and parasite control program.
• Provide adequate hydration and encourage regular exercise to support digestive health.
• Seek veterinary attention promptly if you notice any signs of straining, swelling, or tissue protrusion around the a**s.

With quick veterinary attention and the right treatment, most cats make a great recovery — just like Cale did! ❤️
