✈️ STEP-BY-STEP HACK
1️⃣ BOOK A DIRECT FLIGHT
-book a direct flight to jeju without a layover on the mainland
- you can have a layover in other countries like Singapore, taiwan or thailand. For us, we chose to have our layover in Singapore because SG was our second home and we missed their delicious food 😋
2️⃣ STAY ONLY IN JEJU
-The visa free only applies in jeju island and you would need to apply for visa if you plan to go the mainland but there is so much to explore in jeju that you would feel you’re out of time to check them all. It’s even termed as the “Boracay of south korea”

3️⃣ 30 DAYS VISA-FREE
– Beaches, volcanoes, & black pork BBQ await!
- if you’re a fan of anime/manhawa, Solo leveling jeju island arc was among the best animation in recent times.

Tips:
✅Compared to the mainland, English is not widely spoken here so you may need some translation app to get you through. This is highly exciting for those travelers who seek mild excitement in their travels.
✅Jeju island has a mild winter so if it’s your first time traveling during winter, you might find that jeju winter is more comfortable.
✅Credit card is widely acceptable. So you can use you VISA OR MASTERCARD for your transactions. Try to be cautious about using amex as not all stores accept amex credit card
✅Try to mix guided tours with self exploration as it can give you an idea of the culture of the people
