🐾 YUKI’S CYSTOTOMY JOURNEY 🩺

A Case of Urinary Bladder Stones in a 2-Year-Old Female Dog

Patient: Yuki | 2-year-old Female Dog

Yuki was referred to the Animal Doctor from another veterinary clinic due to difficulty urinating. Upon examination, her urinary bladder was found to be enlarged and firm, raising concern for a possible urinary obstruction.

An X-ray was performed, which helped identify the problem in her urinary tract. Yuki subsequently underwent cystotomy (bladder surgery), during which two bladder stones were successfully removed.

Thankfully, Yuki recovered well after surgery and was given proper post-operative care and monitoring. ❤️

If your pet is straining to urinate, urinating frequently, passing only a small amount of urine, or unable to urinate, please seek veterinary care immediately. Urinary blockage can be a serious and potentially life-threatening condition.
