🚨 Leptospirosis: A Risk to Pets and People

The rainy season brings a higher risk of leptospirosis, a zoonotic disease that can spread from infected animals to humans through contaminated urine, water, or soil.

🐶 Protect your pets. Protect your family.

Watch for these warning signs:
🐾 Fever
🐾 Loss of appetite
🐾 Vomiting or diarrhea
🐾 Lethargy
🐾 Increased thirst or urination

✅ Reduce the risk:
• Keep pets away from floodwater and stagnant water.
• Control rodents around your home.
• Keep your pet's vaccination up to date.
• Visit your veterinarian if your pet shows signs of illness.

💉 Vaccination is your pet's best defense against leptospirosis. Staying up to date with annual vaccination helps reduce the risk of severe illness and protects both your pet and your family.

📞 Message us or visit our clinic today to schedule your pet's vaccination.

🐱 Is Your Cat Having Trouble Urinating? Don't Ignore the Signs! 🚨

⚠️ Watch for these warning signs:
• Frequent trips to the litter box
• Straining or crying while urinating
• Passing only a few drops of urine, or none at all
• Blood in the urine
• Urinating outside the litter box
• Excessive licking of the ge***al area
• Loss of appetite, vomiting, weakness, or hiding (especially if unable to urinate)

❗A blocked cat cannot "wait until tomorrow." Without prompt treatment, toxins build up in the body, and the condition can become life-threatening within a short time.

At PetFirst Animal Clinic, our veterinary team can examine your cat, identify the cause of the urinary problem, provide emergency treatment when needed, and recommend a treatment plan to help your feline friend recover.

🐾 If your cat is showing any of these signs, contact us or visit the clinic as soon as possible. Early treatment can save your cat's life.

📍 Visit us at: Unit 8 Arcade Commercial Complex, Molino Rd, Molino IV, Bacoor, Philippines, 4102
📞 Call us: 0906 530 1998
🕒 Regular Clinic Hours: 9:00 am to 6:00 pm
🚨 Emergency Hours: 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm

Your cat's health can't wait. When in doubt, have them checked by a veterinarian.

🌧️ Rainy days bring cooler weather—but they can also increase health risks for our pets.

Help keep your furry family members healthy by drying them after walks, cleaning their paws, protecting them from parasites, and providing a warm, dry place to rest.

If you notice any signs of illness such as persistent scratching, ear discharge, coughing, vomiting, diarrhea, or loss of appetite, don't wait, early veterinary care can make a big difference.

🐶🐱 A little extra care during the rainy season goes a long way toward keeping your pets happy and healthy.
