Indeed, good things come to those who wait…
The past year has been a challenge for me but now I know why I always have to trust and surrender everything to the Lord.
With me, He said, be patient.
I almost gave up, to the point where I was clouded with negativity but there is always a part within me that said to have faith and trust the process.
There are some who are telling me to stop planting. But deep in my heart I know I cannot give this up. Knowing prices of my collection has gone down was never easy. I know most of my co-collectors felt how heart-breaking it is.
Joining plant fairs and conventions were I think my means to somehow release our propagations, of which we are happy to sell out and meet our fellow plant parents, clients, and friends.
There is that kid in me that is so happy to be able to travel and earn at the same time.
We are grateful to have a venue where we can showcase our collection and people can appreciate how beautiful plants can be. Well, they’re not just plants, they are our babies too.
Luckily, we were able to join the first Horti Filipina in Clark, Pampanga.
There, we showcased our mutated Yucca. Never have I imagined how lucky we will be to be able to get the Best in Show award, also the first in the Rare and Exceptional category.
I will be forever grateful to our suppliers/hunters who turned out to be our plant families, my friends and colleagues who have been patient with me (you know who you are❤️), and to my dearest family.
Thank you for always believing in me.
To my Horti Filipina Family, When Indigo Shifts to Green, and Greens and Browns team, thank you so much!
Lord, madamo guid nga salamat! I lift up and surrender everything to you.
This journey was never easy, but will forever be grateful for everything.
To my co-rare collectors, stay tuned for our next surprise!😉
