FEED A FAMILY FOR A DAY FOR Php 200: A Relief Drive

Due to the vast flooding in Isabela and Cagayan caused by the water released from Magat Dam, 144,241 individuals, according to news sites as of November 14th, were affected by the floods in Isabela. Residents from Isabela and Cagayan have been displaced and the LGUs were blindsided by the severity of the flood.

My hometown of Mallig, Isabela was spared from the devastation, but some of my fellow Isabelinos in towns of Delfin Albano, Tumauini, San Pablo and Cabagan were not. To augment the efforts of the local government, my friends and I are organizing a relief drive in celebration of my birthday on November 18th. We are inviting you to join us in lending a helping hand to the people affected by the floods.

For every 200 pesos, a relief pack will be provided to a family, these packs will include rice, canned goods, noodles, coffee, milk and personal hygiene products. We plan to raise funds to provide at least 100 families with simple relief packs to help them get by even for just a day.
