Snow’s Story: A 10-Year-Old Warrior’s Fight Against Hematometra–Pyometra Complex

At 10 years old, Snow was brought to us with continuous bloody vaginal discharge. Her case was complicated by her age and concurrent blood parasitism, requiring careful management and monitoring.

With gas anesthesia, skilled surgical care, and several days of confinement, Snow successfully recovered and was discharged healthier, with more happy years ahead!

Her story is also a reminder of the importance of spaying and neutering. Spaying helps prevent unwanted pregnancies, eliminates the risk of pyometra and can reduce the risk of mammary (breast) tumors, especially when performed early.

Lucky Lived Up to His Name!

Lucky survived Feline Panleukopenia (FPV), one of the most dreaded viral diseases in cats. With the dedication of the Aura Veterinary Clinic team and the unwavering love of his purrents, he fought through and became a survivor!

From Fighting Infection to Building Protection: Putetot’s Story

Putetot’s journey is a beautiful reminder of just how strong our pets can be.

As a puppy, Putetot faced Infectious Canine Hepatitis (ICH), a serious viral infection that can be especially challenging for young and vulnerable dogs. But with proper veterinary care, supportive treatment, and lots of love, this little fighter made it through.

Today, seeing Putetot healthy, happy, and growing strong is truly rewarding. And now, he’s back at Aura Veterinary Clinic not because he’s sick, but because it’s time to continue building his protection through his ongoing immunization!

Joji’s 3-in-1 Surgical Journey

Joji came to Aura Veterinary Clinic due to bloody urine caused by bladder and urethral stones. His case was challenging not only because of the stones but also because of his brachycephalic breed, so gas anesthesia was used for better anesthetic control and monitoring.

He bravely underwent three procedures:

Castration – removal of his testicles
Cystotomy – removal of bladder stones
Urethrostomy – creation of a wider urinary opening to help prevent future blockage

Joji’s follow-up check-ups are still ongoing to monitor his recovery and ensure proper healing. We’re so proud of this brave little warrior!

Keeping Up with Their Wellness!

Danyul, Snowy, Jungles, and Kiko visited us today for their annual 4-in-1 vaccination, Anti-Rabies vaccine, and quarterly deworming!

Even indoor cats need regular vaccinations and deworming! Being indoors significantly reduces their exposure to certain risks, but it does not completely eliminate them. Viruses and parasites can still be brought inside through shoes, clothing, other pets, or accidental exposure. Keeping their vaccines and parasite prevention up to date is an important part of responsible pet care.

Tamtam’s Journey: From Recovery to Routine Care 🧡
