🐾 PRINCESS’ FOREIGN BODY REMOVAL JOURNEY 🐾

Princess recently underwent surgery after ingesting foreign objects that became a serious concern for her health. During the surgery, our resident Veterinarian retrieved meat bones, rubber, and pieces of plastic toys from her digestive tract. 🥺🐶

This is an important reminder to all fur parents: our pets can be curious and playful, but swallowing inappropriate objects can lead to intestinal blockage, injury, infection, and may require emergency surgery.

❤️ Please keep an eye on what your pets chew and play with. Avoid giving them objects that can easily break apart or be swallowed, and keep small toys, bones, plastics, and other dangerous items out of their reach.

If you notice repeated vomiting, loss of appetite, lethargy, abdominal pain, or difficulty passing stool, seek veterinary care immediately.

Meet Kikay, a 10-year-old female Pomeranian who proved that age is never a reason to give up. 🐶💪

Kikay underwent cystotomy surgery for bladder stones and, despite her age, she continued to fight and successfully survived the surgery. Her strength and determination truly inspired us! ♥️

Meet Nugget, a 6-year-old female Toy Poodle who bravely faced a serious and potentially life-threatening condition called PYOMETRA. 🐶💜

Pyometra is a severe infection of the uterus that commonly affects unspayed female dogs. If left untreated, it can quickly become life-threatening.

Nugget’s case reminds us how important it is for pet parents to recognize the warning signs. 🚨

🔎 Common signs of pyometra include:
• Extreme tiredness or weakness
• Loss of appetite
• Vomiting
• Heavy panting
• Increased drinking and urination
• Abdominal discomfort or swelling

Through proper examination, diagnostic imaging, timely intervention, and dedicated care, Nugget was able to overcome this challenging condition. 🧡🐾
