Gem 💎 showed a sizzling turn of speed on the turn reminiscent of her older half-sister RUBY ROE, to secure the win.

PB RUBY ROE retires…

After a wonderful racing career, RUBY ROE ❤️ will now pivot to a new career as a broodmare.

RUBY ROE - Captaintreacherous x Arden Caviar (Rocknroll Hanover x Winter Rose)

Ruby’s 30 race starts from 2-5 years produced
8 x wins, 8 x 2nds, 5 x 3rds and $206,352.
Highlights included the 2025 Gr3 Champagne Stake and 7 placings in Group races, including 2nd in the Gr1 Queen of Hearts.

A true speed demon, Ruby’s fastest winning mile rate was recorded at 1.51.9. But it was her closing sectionals that regularly set the clock alight and gave us plenty to cheer about🚀

With Ruby’s speed, performance, size and pedigree, we look forward to her progeny hitting the track.

PB CHICAGO SKY ☁️ produced a quick turn of foot to reel in the leaders and claim victory in the Equine Farm NZ Sires Stakes ‘Uncut Gems’ Mares Classic.

This finishes off another very consistent campaign for Sky. Her 7 starts as a 4yo mare have produced 3 wins and 3 second placings. Her one miss (a career worst 5th placing 😱) was among one of her best performances, so we are very proud of our ‘Sky’. She now heads off to the paddock to freshen up for a spring/summer campaign.

Off the racetrack (& sometimes on the racetrack), Sky continues to be a character - either angelic 😇 or demonic 😈 but always having fun.

Congratulations to her large ownership group consisting of family and friends - it is nice to share Sky with these special people.

Thank you to Sky’s race drivers - Brent Barclay and Matthew Williamson. You have both worked with some gnarly draws and given her great opportunities to feature in the finish.
