“Kung ako nga, isang pet groomer from the Philippines, nakarating sa New Zealand… baka ikaw din, kaya mo.

Hindi naging madali ang journey ko. Matagal akong nagtrabaho bilang pet groomer 16years bago ako nakaisip mag ibang bansa nag-ipon ng experience, nag-practice ng skills, at patuloy na nag-improve sa grooming.

Dumating yung time na naisip ko… bakit hindi ko subukan? Paano kung dalhin ko yung skills ko sa ibang bansa?

So nag-research ako, naghanap ng opportunity, nag-prepare ng mga documents, at higit sa lahat, nagkaroon ako ng lakas ng loob na subukan.

As a groomer, malaking bagay talaga ang experience, proper grooming skills, patience, at willingness to learn.

Hindi ko masasabi na madali ang proseso. May mga times na kinakabahan ako, may doubts, at may mga challenges along the way. Pero hindi ako tumigil.

Hanggang sa dumating yung moment na masasabi kong…

‘I’m finally here. New Zealand.’

Ngayon, nagtatrabaho ako dito bilang pet groomer, at araw-araw may bago pa rin akong natututunan.

Kaya sa mga kapwa groomers ko sa Pilipinas na nangangarap din makapagtrabaho abroad huwag mong isipin na hanggang pangarap lang.

Start where you are.

Improve your skills. Build your experience. Learn as much as you can. And when the right opportunity comes, be brave enough to take it.

Hindi ko alam kung saan ka dadalhin ng journey mo… pero baka isang araw, ikaw naman ang makapagkuwento:

‘From a groomer in the Philippines… to a groomer in New Zealand.’

Kung kaya ko, kaya mo rin.

Nakakalungkot yong ibang vloger n pinoy dito sa NZ mag popost ng kunyari mag rerefer sila pero ang totoo wala nmn silang na refer for the views lang ba wag niyong gawing tanga kapwa pilipino ntin nkakaawa yong mga kapwa pilipino ntin na gusto mag work dito sa NZ. tpus pinapaasa niyo lang😒 maging honest kayo na sobrang hirap tlga mag hanap ng trabaho ngayon sa NZ at ang taas pa ng cost of Living 🤨🤨 wag niyong pagkakitaan ang pinoy na nsa pilipinas.😔
