Annabell Dobbs has different things to learn with each different horse. Its so cool to see her having a play and wanting to learn when she hits a challenge.
She is learning to go with the horse and not pull, which she did beautifully on Mr T, after a very learning ride on Kracker.
Allow the horse the responsibility of carrying themselves, let the energy flow, don't become the block.

This had Annabelle and I in stitches 😂
Neither of these horses gave a 💩 about the gigantic teddy rider they encountered yesterday 🤣
Toa has not been ridden at all and Mira is a bit green, but nope nothing not ever when Teddy abandoned ship!!!!
Very good ponies!!
This is all the weight Toa needs on his back at this stage. He may have someone light sit up when he is 4, but will not do too much till he is 6.
I want to look after his body the best I can, so he stays the happy curious somewhat f@$ken😅 annoying horse he is.

Its a big deal!!!
Having someone else ride Timatanga is a massive thing! Of course under strick instructions.
But it is so good, he is such an easy ride, he is not spooky, he doesn't over reate or buck. He can still protest sometimes. But its more of a conversation now.
Is its good if for some reason I need to ride something else, I can let Annabelle ride him, Annabelle is great and really understands to do as I do with him. She has seen how far he has come.

Just look at that happy face !!!!! 😊😊😊

Annabelle and Mr T, having a fun play.

Annabell learning about body control, and how much influence the small movements we make can have on a horse.
It can be as simple as looking where we want the horse to go, and making our body go the way we are looking, while maintaining a good balanced posture.

I compare ridden posture in my mind to 2 of my dogs. Both being of similar weight, but one feels so much heavier, cause he crumbles when you pick him up, where as the other holds her own weight so she feels so much lighter!!
That is what it would feel like to a horse, the rider who struggles with their posture is always going to be more difficult to carry.

Let's make our communication easier for the horses, by always trying to improve our own posture.
Our postural improvement will help enhance the beauty of our connection with our horses.♡
