Last weekend I attended the Brisbane Ekka Show that was the start of the tour for the Charolais World Congress Trip for 2026. Due to the busy time of year I was lucky to squeeze in a couple of days off before hitting the ground running again.
Calf rearing, picking up Ag day lambs and rehoming and all the other farm jobs have been keeping the days long. Not long til September when the days get longer. We’ve hit a real cold snap lately including 2x 0 degree mornings just before I left for Australia. The grass has really taken a hit in the cold this year.
Charolais won the interbred champion and have won 10/15 over the years.
Moongool Victory took out Supreme Bull also sold for 130K at the evening auction on the Friday night
