Congratulations to the winner of our recent raffle!

This beautiful piece of art was kindly donated by local artist Pauline Allomes.

Funds raised from this raffle will contribute to the ever increasing costs we face for vulnerable animals in our care. Thankyou all for your support!

Look at all these gorgeous faces!

All waiting with their paws and claws crossed that this will finally be their time to be noticed, chosen, and given the forever homes they so deserve.

Every single one of them has a loving, beautiful personality just waiting to shine. They have so much love to give and would make the most amazing family members, loyal companions, adventure buddies, and best friends.

All they need is someone to see them, fall in love, and give them the chance they have been waiting for.

Please help us find their people! Share their faces, spread the word, and help these beautiful souls find their happily ever after. They have so much love to give, and somewhere out there is a family waiting for them.

Every one of them deserves a forever home.

🐈Kitten Season🐈

We have had an influx of calls lately asking if we have kittens available for adoption.
While we know they are out there, we have not received any kittens...yet. 🙀 Hopefully this means people have been desexing their cats! 💙

We advertise all animals for adoption on our website; it is live and kept up to date. If you are looking at adding a little furry friend to your family, please keep an eye out here: https://www.spca.nz/adopt

Can you give 2 hours of your time for the animals? 🐶🐱

We need volunteer street collectors for our Fill the Bucket street appeal, which is taking place on 30 and 31 October in Whanganui and all around the country!

What's involved:
👉 Just 2 hours of your time (or more if you like) on either Friday 30 or Saturday 31 October
👉 Working in pairs at a collection site in your area, collecting donations from the public
👉 You'll be provided with the collection bucket, bibs, and stickers.
👉 You're welcome to bring your dog with you! Just remember to bring their water bowl and bags.

Every cent donated from our Fill the Bucket street appeal goes back to the thousands of animals that we help each year. This is a critical fundraiser, and we couldn't do it without our collection volunteers!

Please share this far and wide across your local community groups, and sign up here: https://spcanz.cervistech.com/acts/webreg/eventwebreglist.php?org_id=0431&event_category_id=66
