We thought it was probably time we properly reintroduced ourselves… 👋
I’m Brit and I’m the owner behind Mighty Mix Wellington, Kapiti and Palmy.
As many if you know I started in the business with my father Brent, who had already been running the Mighty Mix franchise for years before I came along.
It started with me simply tagging along while Dad was out on deliveries, then eventually doing most of the deliveries myself.. and here we are today.
Sadly, almost a year ago, Dad passed away. It’s been a really big year of learning to take the reins and figure out all the pieces he used to carry.. I probably should have paid more attention to all the numbers he would rattle to me on the phone all the time.. 😅
But I take everything I learnt from him into every decision and everything I do moving forward.
And luckily, I don’t have to do it totally alone.
At home I have my amazing Husband Jimmy. Some of you might remember all the excitement of us gearing up for our wedding in January 2025. I’m forever grateful Dad was there for our big day.
And of course, you all know Moe.. the unofficial poster girl for Mighty Mix Welly.
The other face a lot of you will recognise is my brother, Phillip.
Phill has been a massive help in keeping everything moving and provides the muscles behind the deliveries, getting your bags safely to you. He’s out on the road for most of our runs in between his own work as a builder.
Now that I’m more behind the scenes, or at least behind the laptop screen - Phill’s the lucky bu**er who gets to be out there seeing all your beautiful dogs!
Then he gets the big sniff down interrogation from his own dog, Winnie, when he gets home 😂
We really can’t thank you all enough for sticking with us. Some of your dogs we’ve watched grow from puppies into old age, and you’ve been there through plenty of changes in our lives too.
Just as it’s a privilege for us to be a small part of the different stages of your dogs’ and families’ lives, it means a lot to have you along for ours too. 💙
