😂 And this is the after-school shift…

School pick-up done ✅
Walks and adventures done ✅
Dinner done ✅
And now… absolutely NOTHING left in the tank. 😂🐾💤

Two very tired little guests, stretched out on the sofa like they’ve just finished a 12-hour shift.

Forget the school bus — today we arrived with a whole furry welcoming committee! 😂❤️ One child squeezed in with his four-legged passengers, three little supervisors in the back, and one fluffy co-pilot who apparently decided the front seat was perfect for a nap. 😂

Just another completely normal school run around here… where there are usually more paws than people in the car. 🐶🐾❤️

Best pick-up crew ever! 🥹🐾

Well… that didn’t take long 😂🐾

First day with the crew and he’s already busy making friends, swapping sniffs and joining in on the fun 🐶🤎

A little “hello, who are you?” turned into “okay, we’re mates now!” pretty quickly 😂🥰

Safe to say, someone’s settling in nicely! 🏡🐾

A new little face joined us today 🥹🤎

From getting cosy on the car ride, to that cheeky little tongue 😋, his first walk with the crew and carefully saying hello to his new friends… he’s already settling into our life beautifully. 🐾

I love watching a new guest slowly relax, start exploring and realise they’re somewhere safe, where there are plenty of cuddles waiting for them. 🏡❤️

Welcome to our little family, sweetheart. I think you’re going to fit in just perfectly 🥰🐶

People see my work and think it’s just dogs. 🐾

But it’s so much more than that.

You welcome them into your home, learn all their little habits, celebrate their birthdays, worry when they’re not themselves, laugh at their silly personalities and love them like they’re part of your own family.

Some come into my life for a short time, others I’m lucky enough to care for for years. And somewhere along the way, they stop feeling like “clients’ dogs”. They become part of my life. ❤️

That’s why the hardest part of this job is saying goodbye.

When one of them passes away, I grieve too. There’s an empty little space where their paws, their face and their personality used to be.

This job brings me so much happiness, but losing one of my beautiful furry friends will always be the part that hurts the most. 🌈🐾

They may not be my dogs, but I love them like they are. ❤️
