Dog collars and leads handmade in New Zealand are made to a standard I would expect for my dogs. I was devastated when my 2 year old Lab was diagnosed with bone cancer of the jaw. I joined a small group called Bone Cancer Dogs and today it is a non profit organisation dedicated to raising funds. Feeling helpless seeing a close friend fight the same battle I decided to make collars to raise funds f
or Bone Cancer Dogs. Doing them together seemed to ease Lyns pain and the black cloud that hung over us. Some ideas were wow and others made us wonder what was in our coffee. Lyn fought a long hard battle and passed before I was able to set it up. It was hard going on without her so stopped. Those who suffer can not say I don’t want to do this so what right did I have to give up. We may never find a cure, but hope we can find better pain medication.
