We decided to brave the wind and rain and headed for a Friday frolic in the hills, thankfully the rain eased off!

Today the Thursday crew (+ Koda) welcomed sweet Olive back! We haven’t seen Olive for a while, so we took things pretty cruisy today and kept the outing nice and calm while she found her feet. She’s a timid girl, so she stuck pretty close to me, and I’m really proud of all the dogs for giving her the space she needed to settle in at her own pace.

Like most Goldens, Olive is a lover of water! Unfortunately, the river was running too high to risk it today, so we finished off the walk with a visit to one of the streams instead. This certainly brought out her curious and happy side!

I can’t wait to take her down to the river for a good swim once it’s safe to do so.

Welcome back, sweet Olive!

Basil’s back! After a bit of a hiatus Basil has returned. Since it’s been a while we kept it chill with a slow steady and very misty on lead walk today!

Good to be back with the Monday crew -one! Up in the hills amongst all the doing buttercups!

The sun sure came out to celebrate Twigs’ third birthday!

We also had a couple of extras tagging along today as they missed their Monday walk due to the van! Everyone did very well mingling and adventuring together, and thanks to Twig, everyone scored some extra tasty birthday treats!

P.s. Sorry no pack photo today as I forgot to charge my phone fully and it died before we got that in! So just candid shots today!

Yesterday the world lost an angel on earth, and the stars gained one. ✨

Kirk — thank you for allowing me the privilege of knowing you and enjoying our dawdles together over this past year. I hope you enjoyed them as much as I did.

You really were the most wonderful dog — such a gentle, sweet soul the epitome of a true gentleman. You will be so very sorely missed. ❤️❤️❤️😭

Rest easy, Kirk, and swim lots! 🌈

Not sure the weather could make its mind up today — it was warm, windy, sunny, rainy and then windy again!

But all the dogs had a fab time, and we did the full loop today, so there should be some well-tired dogs tonight!

A certain duo also decided to test out a new scent “EAU DE POSSUM CARCASS” 🤢😂 — which, unfortunately, meant a good rinse and scrub was required at the end of the walk. I’m sure they thought it was worth it! But all in all a great finish to the week! Happy Friday everyone!

Just a fab day in the hills with some very happy dogs! Wind in the fur and grass under foot!
