Christmas might still feel a little way off, but orders are open, and it’s time to get those mystery bags sorted!

Starting at just $30, you choose the value and the animal, dogs, cats or almost any other animal. I’ll take care of the surprises, with a mix of treats, toys and goodies worth at least 10% more than you pay. 💜

Our last order price was $185 so hopefully a very similar price.

Cato Plank + Tilt Stand
These haven’t been ordered for a while, but the previous price was $375. I expect this may increase slightly with the next order, so I’ll confirm pricing before orders are finalised.

The Cato Board is a sturdy training platform that can be used for place work and a whole range of training activities. The Cato Plank can be used as a platform on its own, or paired with the Tilt Stand to create an adjustable teeter or incline.

🎄 Christmas is coming to Confident Canines 🎄

I was going to post back in August asking what everyone wanted for Christmas this year.

But August was a pretty rough month around here, and honestly, Christmas just wasn’t where my head was at.

So here we are in September with our first Christmas post of 2026… and I’m afraid I have some slightly disappointing news.

12 Days of Confident Canines Christmas is STILL on hiatus.

I really did plan to bring it back this year, but when I looked at what I actually have the capacity for, mentally, physically and emotionally, 12 Days just isn’t it this year.

So we’re keeping things a little simpler.

🎁 CONFIDENT CANINES MYSTERY BAGS ARE BACK! 🎁

Same idea as last year, because apparently you lot quite liked them!

💜 Starting from just $30
💜 Pick your value, you can go higher if you’re feeling festive
💜 Pick the animal, dogs, cats or almost any other animal
💜 Bags contain a mix of goodies, including treats and toys
💜 Every bag is worth at least 10% more than you pay
💜 May include Active Outlet goodies AND products from trusted brands we don’t normally stock
💜 And, of course, you don’t get to choose what’s inside! That’s the whole mystery bit. 😉

Some bags will be similar. Some will be completely different. That’s part of the fun!

📅 Important dates

🎄 Orders close: 15 October 2026
💰 Invoices due: 1 November 2026
📦 Shipping invoices: Around 1 December 2026
🚚 Bags shipped: Once shipping has been paid

Shipping will be invoiced separately, with the cost depending on the size of your bag.

A couple of important bits:

❌ No refunds or exchanges once your bag has been paid for
💜 I’ll do my best to accommodate requests, but allergy-related requests are the only ones guaranteed

Sad Voilà Update 😔

The update I received about stock being available in Australia was a smidge premature.

When I was told what was available, the stock hadn’t actually been released from Australian Customs yet. Sadly, the shipment is now on indefinite hold, which essentially means there’s currently no date for when it will be released.

So, what does this mean for us?

We’re in a holding pattern until the stock is released.

If you have already let me know you want a Voilà pouch, you’re still on the list. There’s no need to contact me again. I’ll check in with everyone once I have an official ETA.

If you haven’t let me know yet and would like one, you can still add your name to the list, but for now there’s unfortunately no ETA.

Fingers crossed we get some movement soon! 💜

DOG Copenhagen has new products!!

The Urban Classic Collar and Leash! These products are available in the whole DOG Copenhagen range of colours.

Both are made from soft and durable vegan leather of the highest quality with satin-polished stainless steel hardware. The material that is exceptionally durable and weather-resistant, yet surprisingly soft to touch with a premium and luxurious feel.

The Urban Classic Leash is a multifunction leads which I think is essential for everyone's dog gear collection.

Since losing Myers, Confident Canines has been on the back burner.

The same thing happened when I lost Craven. Grief changes things. It takes time, energy and focus, and sometimes, when you are simply trying to get through each day, it can be hard to show up in the same way you once did.

Each of those periods has left Confident Canines a little worse off. Fewer orders. Fewer clients. Less interaction. Less social media presence.

That is completely understandable. I have been less present, and I definitely haven't been promoting myself, Confident Canines or Active Outlet in the way I once did.

This isn't a poor me post. It is a let's support each other post.

I want to get Confident Canines and Active Outlet moving again. I want to rebuild what has slowed down over the last few years and get back to doing the things I am passionate about.

I want to support guardians and their dogs. I want to help people understand dogs better. I want to share information, start conversations and create spaces where we can learn together.

I also want to get back to actively bringing in and ordering some of the fantastic brands I already work with.

There is new gear coming from Dog Copenhagen, and I would love to get more orders and preorders underway for:

Some of these rely on enough interest to make an order or preorder viable, so knowing what you're interested in really does make a difference.

What would you like to learn more about? Would you be interested in workshops, online discussions, educational sessions or Q&As? Are there particular topics around dog behaviour, welfare, training or understanding our dogs that you would like to explore?

I have missed being present here. I have missed the conversations and sharing the things I am passionate about.

So I think it is time to start finding my way back.

Confident Canines has always been about dogs first, about learning, connection, adventure and helping people and dogs live better lives together.

I want to keep doing that.
