The days are getting longer, the grass is growing faster, and we're still waiting for someone to invent the **robot pooper-scooper**.
We have a robot mower. We have a robot vacuum.

# # 🧊 Ice, Ice, Doggy
With warmer weather coming, we've been experimenting with frozen enrichment blocks.
They're about **95% water**, with a little something tasty added — homemade chicken stock, berries, banana, carrot, kūmara, pumpkin, peanut butter, grain-free biscuits and treats, **etc.**
They're cool, interesting and give the dogs something to lick, sniff and investigate.
**IMPORTANT:** If your dog has **ANY food allergies or sensitivities**, please let us know — **even if you think we already know, remind us again.**
We like to keep all our dogs safe. 💙

# # 🌿 More Places to Be a Dog
Our nature areas are taking shape, with more places for the dogs to sniff, climb, explore and investigate.
Because apparently a paddock isn't enough.
Dogs need **STUFF**.
Logs. Rocks. Branches. Interesting smells. Things to stick their heads into for no apparent reason.
If you have **tree trunks, branches, punga logs or rocks** you don't need, we'd love to give them a second life.
**Just no oak, please.**

We've added bird feeders around the daycare to give the dogs something different to watch, listen to and investigate.
Basically, **Doggy Nature TV**.
No subscription. No remote. No ads.
And nobody's complained about the programming yet. 😂

# # 🐕 A Tired Dog Is Good. A Happy Dog Is Better.
Our philosophy is simple:
**Let your dog be a real dog.**
Playing with dogs isn't just throwing a ball… then spending the next ten minutes chasing them around trying to get the bloody thing back. 😂 Apparently nobody got the **“give it back”** memo.
Dogs need to **sniff, explore, investigate, problem-solve, play, socialise and relax** too.
That's why we're adding nature areas, Snifferama, frozen enrichment and even **Doggy Nature TV**.
We don't just want a tired dog.
**We want a happy dog who's had a bloody good dog day.** 🐾💙

We know what your dogs get up to while they're here.
What we don't see is **what happens when they get home.**
So this month's question is:

Asleep before you get home?
Dinner followed immediately by a food coma?

Or somehow still running around like they've done absolutely nothing all day? 😂

We're continuing to grow Canine Collective around one pretty simple idea — giving dogs the opportunity to **play, sniff, explore, investigate, relax and just be dogs.**

Some are sensible.
Some are slightly less sensible.
And some haven't been fully explained to the accountant yet. 😁
