Dog Walking Out West Professional Dog Walking Service in West Auckland. Our aim is to make sure each walk is different an We both have extensive experience working with dogs.

My name is Jacqui and I run Dog Walking Out West along side my Mum Katherine. We currently foster dogs for the SPCA and have been doing so for the past 15 years, it's given us experience working with a wide range of dogs all different in age, size and personality. From Huskies and Pitbulls to Fox terriers and Pugs and everything in between. We have both recently completed a course in dog walking r

un by K9 Education. The course was full of information including engagement, body language and play styles and emergency first aid. I have also completed Unitecs New Zealand Certificate in Animal Management-Canine Behaviour and Training in 2019. We are both extremely passionate about making sure your dogs have the best experience while in our care. Our aim is to make sure each walk is different and exciting as well as personalized to meet your dog's specific needs, we understand that every dog is different and work hard to understand your dogs and give them the best experience while on our walks. Not the news we wanted to be posting, but yesterday, our darling Dolly left us. We had 6 and a half amazing years together, and she lived it to the fullest. She didn't have an easy start, but she more than made up for it. Dolly loved nothing more than going for adventures and zoomies with her friends.
When we adopted her, we didn't think she'd be around too long, but she surprised us and turned into a cheeky puppy with such a zest for life. She was spoilt rotten and was loved so so much.

The house feels much emptier today, but she's made sure to leave enough fur around the house to last a lifetime

We will miss you sweet girl 💔

🎄 IMPORTANT CHRISTMAS DATES 🎄

First off a massive thank you to everyone for being patient with us this year! Most of you will now know that Jacqui is pregnant and due at Christmas. If bubs decides to cooperate Katherine will be running walks up until the 15th of December, but if bubs decides to come a little early we will be pausing walks straight away so those 2 weeks of December walks are not guaranteed! And then Katherine will be starting back up January 22nd 😊 This also means we won't be doing any pet sitting or home stays for a wee while.

Gorgeous Herbie has left us and crossed the rainbow bridge 🌈
Herbie and his sister Phoebe joined our walks almost 5 years ago, we also had the pleasure of dogsitting them at their house. Herbie, you were an absolute ray of sunshine 🌞 You loved zoomies and playing with your friends. It's not gonna be the same without you 😞
