Our Traeger BBQ draw has been done (under Haydn’s watchful eye on Friday 👀) and we’re stoked to announce a local CHB winner… Sam, Bron & Louis Twigg🎉

Pictured here is Louis, who along with his dad Sam was absolutely rapt to take it out – although we hear Sam already claimed ownership of the prize.

This giveaway ran across Autumn for purchases of Matrix C, , a triple-combination, low dose oral drench designed for effective parasite management in cattle.

🌈 Deceased cat found.

We have had a deceased female tortoiseshell cat brought into the clinic after being found following a suspected road accident near 59 Racecourse Road.

Sadly, she was not microchipped and we have been unable to identify her owner.

FOUND INJURED CAT 🐾

We’ve had a young female tabby cat (approx. 6–7 months old) brought into the clinic this morning after being found injured on the road between Waipukurau and Waipawa (near the gravel piles).

She is not microchipped.

⚠️ Facial Eczema – What to Watch For ⚠️

We’re seeing a spike in facial eczema cases across the region. While spore counts have recently dropped, we’re now seeing the effects of earlier exposure — and we’re not out of the risk period yet.

Keep an eye out for:
• Drooping ears
• Red, swollen or scabby skin (face/udder)
• Shade seeking or restlessness
• Reduced appetite

For every animal showing signs, there may be 10 more affected!
