No factory line here — just canvas, wool, and occasionally someone having a quiet word to a sewing machine that’s not cooperating. Every coat and bed starts as a roll of waterproof canvas and our wool blend inner, cut and stitched right here in New Zealand. We could’ve gone the cheap polyester route and pumped them out faster — we didn’t, mostly because we’re stubborn and partly because your dog deserves better than something that falls apart after one season. It takes longer, costs more to make, and yes, we often have a wait list. That’s the trade-off for gear that actually lasts more than one season of paddock bashing. Behind every coat is a fair bit of concentration, a lot of coffee, and genuine care about getting it right.

Spring’s officially here, which in New Zealand means precisely nothing - could be sunbathing weather, could be sideways rain, sometimes both before lunch 🤷‍♀️

First Father’s Day for farmer Billy 🥰🥰 safe to say Natural Hound might not have survived winter without Billy… nor me. If he wasn’t out on the farm, he was with the boys so I could be in the workshop.
Won’t boost him up too much on here or he will expect a cooked breaky in the morning 🙅‍♀️
