This week’s evenings will be spent restocking and tying our TMH halters and lead ropes. I’m happy to say that a lot of time and research went into getting these right - they are high-quality and made to last. Message to order or go through our website at www.tysonmillerhorsemanship.com 🐴

Introducing Louie to some rope work earlier this week.
The goal isn’t so much to desensitise him to the rope, but to teach him to respond thoughtfully to what I’m asking when something causes him trouble.

There isn’t enough time in a horse’s life to desensitise them to everything they might encounter so I’d rather they learn to look to us for guidance when they inevitably come across something unfamiliar.

Little Dot and Anzac both went home yesterday after their time onsite for starting 🐴 An important part of the starting process is handover where owners are set up with the tools to keep moving forward with their horse. For me this is always such a rewarding part of the process, it’s awesome watching it all come together 😊

I’ve been doing a lot of float loading sessions recently, these two horses have needed help building confidence with the float and have since been on some successful outings without any dramas. Awesome stuff
