Hi, I'm Kirsty, the owner of Small Paws Kāpiti Coast, offering heartfelt, qualified care for small dogs. I'm based in Waikanae, with a growing family of clients (who have become cherished friends) across the Kāpiti region. What started as a childhood love affair with pups has blossomed into a career I've always dreamed of. After years of hands-on experience and continuous training in all things do

g, I established Small Paws Kāpiti Coast - turning my passion into professional practice 😍

In addition to a degree and postgraduate studies in ecology and animal behaviour, I am qualified in companion animal care, and a canine behaviourist in training. I'm committed to helping owners decode their dogs' behaviour and strengthen the human-canine bond. I currently offer a range of services, including:

- Customised walks (solo and group options)
- In-home feeding and care visits
- Overnight stays

Additionally, I have:

✔️ Pet First Aid Certificate (current as at July '24)
✔️ Clean police record
✔️ Public liability insurance
