Kiwi Beet is lower in iron than many other beet products on the market, making it a great option for those looking to enjoy the benefits of beet pulp while being mindful of overall trace mineral intake.

It also boasts elevated levels of pectin. Pectin is a highly digestible fibre that is fermented by beneficial microbes in the hindgut, helping to support a healthy digestive system. When soaked, pectin forms a natural gel, which may help support the stomach's natural mucosal protective mechanisms while also promoting a healthy hindgut microbiome. Combined with its low starch and sugar content, this makes pectin rich beet pulp an excellent choice for horses requiring digestive support and a highly digestible fibre source.

Super excited to have some lovely baleage available for purchase from the awesome team at BT contracting. I’ve been feeding this stuff to my horses for several years now and I am super impressed with it. I am very fussy and I hate wet and stinky baleage, and this stuff has ticked every box! 🥳

In case you weren’t already aware, it is fricken freezing 🥶🥶🥶🥶🥶

Me and Mouse are just popping in to remind you
that hydration in cold weather is equally as important as it is in the heat! Horses often reduce their water intake when water is very cold, and some are less inclined to seek out water in cold, wet, or windy conditions.

Dehydration, even mild, has an impact on their gut motility and this combined with a higher intake of dry forage (such as hay), can increase risk of the dreaded c- word (colic, not the other one). Add some warm water to your feeds, offer some soupy mash or molasses water, soak some of their hay, whatever floats ya boat! But keeping those hydration levels up is such an easy way to help keep vet bills at bay! 💦💦💦
