As we wind down from our best and biggest year yet, with the most sheds built, bags sold and feed plans completed, we wanted to say a huge thank you to all of our awesome clients for their support. It doesnt go unnoticed and I genuinely care about each and every one of your horses!
With a grand total of two days off (😂🤦🏻‍♀️) before gearing up for 2026, we have also begun the selection process for FEQ’s Employee of the year. A tough pick this time round! 😉

Millie has been terrorising everyone as per usual. 10/10 for cuteness, 0/10 for attitude.

Dot has doubled in size this spring, and found herself on lock up. We have suspicions that she has been stealing her favourites from the shop after hours! So she is also low down the list.

Delta, Vee and Storm have scraped through doing the bare minimum and racking up vet bills as if they are the ones that pay for them. Also, Delta and Vee’s insistence on being inside when it’s raining for more than 10 minutes is rather time consuming.

So that leaves Rocket, Zilly, and Mouse!

Rocket has been v clever, with minimal 360 spins and broncing episodes in the warm up rings. He is however, the most demanding orange on planet earth, and pretty much dictates my daily schedule. So he settles for third place.

Mouse has slotted in to the family perfectly, and is the happiest, friendliest, wiggliest, cuddliest little bean there is. In her eyes, delivery runs are just a tour of her buddies houses, and multiple opportunities for pats. However, her refusal to get out of bed before 10am and reluctance to leave the comforts of the couch whenever it is slightly cold, windy or wet, render her a very cute, but slightly unreliable team member. Therefore, she finishes in second place.

So, the winner, to no one’s surprise, is the worlds best girl, Zilly ❤️ perfect in every way, even though she makes a habit of doing extra loud woofs when I tell her not to, she sits in the car for hours with no complaints and is outside with me rain, hail, mud, 4am starts, 11pm finishes, 2am poorly pony checks, 8pm deliveries, all of it. Even at 12 years old! Here’s to you Billy Boo 🥰

For the third and final installment in the Christmas elves series, little Mousey (and half of Zilly who had enough of modelling) has found some new products for you to enjoy in the new year. 😍 The Equine Super Goo range will be online for you all to enjoy very soon!

We have been testing a few of their products in this warm and wet weather. Mostly the bug repellent cream. I can’t stand seeing horses stomping away on hard ground and creating unnecessary concussion on joints, so I am a big fly spray user!

Now, I’ll be honest, I had nightmares of this being an ooey, gooey, oily, sticky, dirt attracting mess. BUT, it has been none of those things on any of the 7 test subjects. Big fan! Perfect for those areas like the heels and pasterns that no amount of of fly spray seems to keep mozzies away from, gentle enough for sensitive areas like the face, lasts ages, and so easy for spray-shy k**b heads (looking at you Mr Zak).

We may have been quiet on socials (oops) but, the boys have been busy on the tools! 🛠️🐴

They recently ticked off this lovely custom set-up: beautiful new cross ties and paddock shelters with built-in hay storage. Safe to say these ponies and their people are thrilled to have a roof over their heads especially with this wild weather! 🌧️
