Socialising Your Puppy Starts Before They're Fully Vaccinated!

A lot of people think they have to keep their puppy at home until they've had all of their vaccinations, but early socialisation is incredibly important for raising a confident, well-adjusted dog.

Even if your puppy isn't fully vaccinated, they can still safely experience the world by:
- Being carried in your arms
- Riding in a pet pram
- Travelling in a dog-friendly backpack or carrier bag

With my foster puppies, I take them out in my off-road pet pram, and they absolutely love it! They get to enjoy new sights, sounds, smells, and people while joining my other dogs on walks—all without touching the ground.

As long as your puppy isn't physically walking on public ground where unvaccinated dogs may have been, the risk of diseases such as parvovirus is greatly reduced. This allows them to enjoy valuable social experiences during this important stage of development.

Don't wait until your puppy is fully vaccinated to introduce them to the world. Safe socialisation now can make a huge difference to their confidence and behaviour as they grow.

My friendly Mini Poodle loves having canine visitors, so your dog must be social with other dogs. We also have cats in the home, so your dog must be comfortable around cats. For everyone's safety, the dogs and cats are always kept separate.

As I only take a limited number of dogs at a time to ensure each one receives the care and attention they deserve, spaces are limited and bookings are recommended well in advance.
