Back Paddock Lodge A "just like home" daycare & holiday retreat for small dogs in small numbers with professional care. Cosy accommodation in a rural home. Less Chaos. More Care.

Qualified & experienced
trainer supervision. Small groups & individual attention. Happier Dogs! Hi, I'm Tracey, I am an accredited dog trainer with an advanced Diploma in canine behaviour. In other words,....
I'm all about the dog. Drawing on my studies and experience as a service dog trainer, I wanted to create a place where dogs could gather, socialise and learn in a safe, stress-free environment. A place where my ability to read and communicate with dogs would be of great value. A place where dogs knew they could trust me to keep them safe, understand their needs, keep things structured, keep things fun by challenging their minds as well as providing the space for them to let off some steam. The Back Paddock has dedicated daycare for small to medium breeds ensuring that your dog's new friends are suitably matched in both size and personality providing the best daycare experience possible. Your dog will come home relaxed and happy, and you will have the peace of mind in knowing that they have been well looked after in my care.

💚🐾 **A LITTLE LOVE FROM LILY’S FAMILY** 🐾💚

There’s nothing quite like hearing that one of our little guests is happy to come back to Back Paddock Lodge! 🥰

A huge thank you to Rob and Karen for their incredibly kind words and for trusting me with their gorgeous girl, Lily.

Knowing that Lily enjoys her stays and is happy to come through the door makes what I do so rewarding. And when lovely clients take the time to recommend us to others, it really does mean the world to a small business like mine. ❤️

Thank you, Rob and Karen, for your wonderful support. Lily will always be welcomed with open arms (and plenty of cuddles!) here at Back Paddock Lodge. 🐶

To a friend like no other,
I pull you towards me tighter.
Having you is such a bliss,
So adorable, you steal a kiss.
After a long tiring day,
You make my worries go away.
Each day we learn from you,
The meaning of love, pure and true!

A Dog Parent 🧡

🐾❤️ A little update from Back Paddock Lodge… ❤️🐾

We’re really proud to share that over the past three months, Back Paddock Lodge has raised $218 for Pet Refuge! 🐶🐱

A small contribution from each dog’s stay has added up to something that can make a real difference.

Pet Refuge provides a safe haven for pets belonging to people escaping family violence, helping keep much-loved animals safe while their owners get the support they need. ❤️

We’re incredibly grateful to all of our wonderful Back Paddock guests and their families for helping us support such an important cause.

$218 and counting…! 🐾

Thank you for helping us make a little difference beyond the Back Paddock gates. 💚
