Our Autumn/Early Winter update for Team RVE.

You'll recognise these girls from lessons, birthday parties and Lil Trotters.

Sophie
Since April I’ve done the show jumping circuit finials coming 1st in the 80cm. In May, I competed at day one of the Waikanae winter show jumping series and came 3rd in the 80cm. I passed my C+ riding exam too. In August I did day 3 of the Waikanae winter show jumping series and came 2nd in our 90cm, and next month we are heading to the dressage interschools at Solway.

Angie
Pearl is doing heaps better with her feet, as when I bought her they were very brittle. I'm hoping to get her out to some shows this season. We've been working around the 80cm height jumping and she's feeling good and ready for the season ahead!

Birdie has finished her rehab program from the vets after injuring herself. She's loving teaching her kids lessons, and I'm hoping to get her out to a few CTR's this season as well. Overall she's feeling great, she's moving better and came back to riding like she hadn't had 5 months of paddock rest. Birdie did unfortunately break my phone so I lost my photos of the ponies 😅
Faith has been riding Birdie during the week and they've taken to each other like ducks to water. Birdie absolutely adores Faith.

Kaitlin
I went to the combined pony club rally, and a show jumping clinic riding Tilly. We all attended our end of year pony club rally. Tilly hadn't been herself and the vet diagnosed her with stomach ulcers. It has taken a while to treat but tomorrow Tilly is off to get scoped to see if she has recovered. I also went to Germany for three weeks on a scholarship program, so I'm ready to start riding again.

Addi
I competed at the Wairarapa Pony Club Dressage series and the winter Wairarapa pony club dressage. I’m hopefully going to the Dressage Youth Camp in Taupo too, which I’m really excited about!
