Headplate Check

One of the (many) awesome things about the WOW Saddle, is the ability to change the head plate so your saddle is always 'In Balance'.

Just 1 headplate change can make a world of difference to the comfort of you and your horse.

You can actually go 1 head plate above and below their fitting, but it also depends upon what panels you have fitted.

You can also accommodate your personal preference, ie: I like to ride in a slightly uphill saddle for 'lady comfort' !

If you have good internet connection, I can do an online check to see if you need to change your headplate or not.

Most horses tend to flit between 2 headplates, winter/summer - in work/out of work, and you are more than capable of changing it yourself :)

She has worked and helped many people over the years get to grips with navigating modern day living, and has decided to put it into a workshop setting so she can share this information with more people.

* Basic Nutrition
* Weight Management
* Movement and its importance
* Supplementation

I am in Rakaia THIS Sunday (15th) if anyone wants a WOW saddle re-fit, or try a 2nd hand one, or want some body work doing on their horse.
I am trained in Acupressure and Equine Touch, but I also tie that in with energy work and pulsing.

Re-fits....... when did you last get your saddle checked ?
4 Reasons to have your WOW saddle 're-fitted' :-

1 - To get your panels 're-wrapped' as the leather stretches narrowing the channel down the centre.

2 - To check the 'front to back' balance - horses change shape all the time, you might find you need a 'winter' headplate and a 'summer' head plate.

3 - To check your horses girth groove - saddle moves back or forward if this is incorrect and can change with fitness levels and weight.

4 - Flair adjustment, in-balances occur all the time.

I have been fitting WOW's for 22 years this year, both in the UK and NZ and I do my fittings (and lessons) at Seafield Horse Park in Spencerville (it is cheaper for you to come to me).

A lot of my clients double up their session with a lesson as well, I specialise in problem solving and functional riding - being ADHD I have a knack at seeing things from a totally different perspective ;)

As your saddle ages the leather can stretch. By 're-wrapping' your panels you can re-gain some gullet width from your panel. Here is an awesome video from WOW on how to do it. Alternatively, book in a 're-fit' with me (located in Spencerville) and I can do it for you, or pop your panels in the post :)

One of the awesome things about WOW saddles is the ability to adjust the girths straps to the horses girth groove. Traditional saddles can do this a bit, but nothing like this :-

I have several second hand saddles for sale if you would like to try one for you and your horse.
I am located in Spencerville, so why not go for a ride in Bottle Lake afterwards ?

You can't make a decision about a WOW by riding in one on someone else's horse, and you definitely can't make a decision about them without having one fitted to you and your horse and taking it for a test ride !
