What a wild week it was. The storm gave us a fair shake here, big trees down and plenty of debris to tidy up.
We both felt it was the strongest wind we’ve experienced and yet we know many across Southland had it much worse and I feel for those still without power.
This tractor has been earning its keep across the farm clearing downed trees from lanes and even the neighbours driveway so I felt pretty grateful they spent some time over the weekend in the garden.
We’re slowly getting things back in order. This end of the garden’s a bit worse for wear, but it will bounce back, like it always does.
We’re feeling grateful it wasn’t worse and thinking of all those still cleaning up.
