Meet another one of our new faces!!
Rubie is another one of our amazing Vet Nurses joining us for the season.
She is a qualified Rural Animal Veterinary Technician and has previously worked at Macca lodge, before spending last year in Australia working with horses. She grew up on a farm in the deep South in a little town called Lawrence, where her parents breed standardbred race horses.
She has ridden horses since she was a toddler and has competed in rodeos, representing New Zealand in 2019.
Her favourite part of her job is working out in the field, emergency cases, dealing with ICU cases and foals among lots of other things.
When she isn’t working she is busy planning her wedding and exploring the Waikato and surrounding areas.
