We couldn't be prouder of Tuapeka Rubie (Bonnie)🥰
We took Bonnie down to Ashburton on Sunday for her second raceday start.
Racing in the Group 3 Helen Pope Memorial we knew it was going to be a fast paced race with the high caliber of horses in the field.
To run home for 3rd when the winner broke the New Zealand record time of 1:58.9 for 1700m (1:52.5 MR) We definitely felt like winners on the day.
