We have the results for the NZ Shetland Pony Breeders awards for the 2025/2026 show season.
Tullamore Aiofe (the ginger firecracker 🧨) is the North Island Shetland Pony of the year. She is also the runner up NZ Shetland pony Yearling runner up for the show season.
Her sire Gleneagles Prince (Sire Harviestoun Pharaoh -Imp UK) won the Sire Rating trophy for the show season for the second year in a row. This is for the points accrued by progeny over the season.
A big thank you the the handlers and helpers over the season. A big thank you to the organizations who provide the Shetland classes for us.
