ZEADUSA IM.POSSIBLE
What happens when you remove the peaceful blue surface of Lake Rotorua and look at the measured landscape underneath?
Using published GNS lake-floor research alongside our January 2026 earthquake ledger, ZEADUSA IM.POSSIBLE strips the water away to expose a very different view of Rotorua: the hydrothermal system off Sulphur Point, eruption craters, thousands of pockmarks, the ancient paleo-channel, Mokoia Island and the surrounding volcanic terrain.
Then we add the earthquake layer.
Not to claim that one feature caused another.
Not to predict what happens next.
Simply to place measured geography beside measured seismicity and let the data speak for itself.
The cross-section is the part that changes the perspective completely. The familiar lake surface becomes only a thin boundary above a much deeper geological system.
GNS did the difficult scientific work of surveying what lies beneath the water. Our aim is to make that information visible in a way ordinary people can immediately understand.
This is the beginning of a new series:
ZEADUSA IM.POSSIBLE β BENEATH THE WATER
Measured lake floor.
Measured earthquakes.
Real geography.
Real data.
OBSERVATION, NOT PREDICTION.
Because sometimes the most familiar landscape changes completely when you remove what is hiding it.
Order over chaos. Always. πππ§π
