Sisters Black River Lady Jay and Black River Jessie Jay getting reacquainted. Lady Jay is a little over a month off foaling so time to come in so that I can keep a closer eye on her.

A bit of Sunday schooling for Black River Jessie Jay. Pretty hard to beat the view from the arena too when the suns out and there’s snow on the mountains

What a week!

After four incredible days at the Royal Welsh Show, I have been immersed in all things Welsh, it’s easy to see why this show is regarded as the greatest show on earth and the mecca for Welsh breeders.

I’ve had the privilege of watching some truly outstanding Welsh Section C and D exhibits and just as rewarding has been the opportunity to meet so many passionate breeders and enthusiasts.

Having my niece Anahera out for some pony time today! She’s growing in confidence every time she comes out and absolutely loves spending time with our little Welsh Mountain Pony, Muffin.
