Today we headed to the Canterbury All Welsh with Black River Jessie Jay and Black River Brigadier and what a way to finish off our show season! Both ponies preformed brilliantly and couldn't be prouder of them.

Wahoo 🥳 excited to announce that Black River Lady Jay has been scanned in foal to the amazing Menai Eurostar. Eurostar boasts a stellar ridden record with wins at Royal Windsor, Olympia, HOY and twice at the Royal Welsh. Looking forward to seeing what these two produce

South Island All Welsh Show 2025, Black River Jessie Jay and Black River Honey Bee both stepped out today and did the stud proud! Today was Jessie Jays showing debut and after taking Champion Section C/D Adult with Honey Bee as Reserve Champion, she went on for Supreme Section C/D Exhibit, winning the Hawker Medallion and then on for Runner Up Supreme Purebred Inhand.

A huge thank you to the show committee for putting on a fantastic show and to Cashmere Park for their sponsorship of the Cob section.

Tiggy (5yo) who we started over winter and Prince (4yo) who arrived today to be started!

Both bred just up the road at Black River Welsh Cobs.

Kiwi is still looking for his new home 🏡

"Black River Nevello" is a 14yr old, 158cm warmblood gelding by Never Never out of an Arab/Stationbred mare. Kiwi is good to ride and completed 2 weeks schooling with Natasha Waddell in June. He would be great first hack or for someone getting back into riding wanting to do a bit of hacking, low level dressage. Videos available.
