The 2026 foaling season is officially underway at Clearview Park โ€” and it couldnโ€™t have begun in a more exciting way.

Born yesterday, 31 August, this cracking c**t is not only our first foal of the season, but also the very first foal by ๐—ฆ๐—ก๐—”๐—ฃ๐—•๐—”๐—–๐—ž.

Out of our black-type mare ๐—š๐—Ÿ๐—ข๐—•๐—”๐—Ÿ ๐—•๐—˜๐—”๐—จ๐—ง๐—ฌ, by Highly Recommended, he has certainly made a memorable first impression. Heโ€™s a strong, well-balanced c**t with excellent conformation, plenty of presence and the most remarkable grey-silver sheen to his coat.

It is always exciting welcoming the first foal of a young stallionโ€”but when the result looks like this, it makes the occasion even more special.

First up was ๐—ฆ๐˜„๐˜†๐—ฐ๐—ต๐—ผ (NZ), who recorded her 4th career win over 1500m on the Ballarat synthetic. The 6yo mare is trained by Michael Hickmott and was ridden to victory by Teo Nugent.

Then up on the Sunshine Coast, ๐—•๐—ฒ๐—น๐—ถ๐—ฒ๐˜ƒ๐—ฒ ๐—œ๐—ป ๐—”๐—ป๐—ด๐—ฒ๐—น๐˜€ made it win number two, scoring over the sharp 1000m for trainer Paul Jenkins and jockey Mark Du Plessis. ๐Ÿ‘
