✨ 𝗜𝗡𝗗𝗜𝗔𝗡 𝗣𝗔𝗖𝗜𝗙𝗜𝗖 — 𝗔𝗡𝗢𝗧𝗛𝗘𝗥 𝗪𝗜𝗡𝗡𝗘𝗥 𝗙𝗢𝗥 𝗘𝗖𝗛𝗢𝗘𝗦 𝗢𝗙 𝗛𝗘𝗔𝗩𝗘𝗡 ✨

A terrific result at Ōtaki today, with 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗣𝗮𝗰𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰 producing an impressive fresh-up performance to win the $40,000 Harcourts Ōtaki Handicap over 1400m.

The six-year-old gelding by 𝗘𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗲𝘀 𝗢𝗳 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝘃𝗲𝗻 out of 𝗥𝗵𝘆𝗺𝗲 fought strongly to the line, taking his record to an excellent 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝗻𝘀 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝟭𝟬 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁𝘀.

Trained by 𝗚𝗲𝗼𝗳𝗳 𝗛𝗮𝗶𝗴𝗵 and confidently ridden by 𝗛𝗮𝘆𝗹𝗲𝘆 𝗛𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗺𝗮𝗻, Indian Pacific continues to build a very promising record.

A special congratulations to his owner-breeder 𝗖𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗴 𝗜𝗿𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲 and everyone at Anglesea Stud. Craig has been a longtime customer and wonderful supporter of Echoes Of Heaven, so we couldn’t be happier to see him enjoying another well-deserved winner.

Another tough and talented performer for 𝗘𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗲𝘀 𝗢𝗳 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝘃𝗲𝗻—whose progeny continue to get the job done! 🌟

Congratulations to Craig, Geoff, Hayley and all the connections of Indian Pacific. 🏇

❄️ 𝗔𝗡𝗢𝗧𝗛𝗘𝗥 𝗪𝗜𝗡𝗡𝗘𝗥 𝗙𝗢𝗥 𝗝𝗢𝗡 𝗦𝗡𝗢𝗪 ❄️

We were delighted to see our homebred mare 𝗘𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗟𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 dig deep for a determined victory at Phar Lap Raceway on Sunday.

The four-year-old daughter of 𝗝𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝗻𝗼𝘄 and 𝗦𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘆𝗮𝗻(Savabeel) won the 1200m maiden on our home track, making the occasion even more memorable during Phar Lap’s 100th birthday celebrations.

After racing in strong—and at times unlucky—three-year-old company last season, it was particularly satisfying to see her return as a stronger four-year-old and earn her first win.

Bred and owned by us, Eternal Light is trained by 𝗕𝗿𝘂𝗰𝗲 𝗧𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗿 and was given a lovely ride by 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗵 𝗛𝗲𝗺𝗶.

Jon Snow’s progeny continue to show the toughness, determination and willingness to compete that he has become known for—making this another very pleasing result for the 𝗛𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝗻𝗼𝘄.

Watch Eternal Light fight all the way to the line in the video below! 🏇

𝗙𝗢𝗔𝗟 𝗙𝗥𝗜𝗗𝗔𝗬 — 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗦𝗡𝗔𝗣𝗕𝗔𝗖𝗞 𝗦𝗧𝗔𝗠𝗣 🖤✨

A look at some of the first foals by 𝗦𝗡𝗔𝗣𝗕𝗔𝗖𝗞—and it’s fair to say a strong family resemblance is already beginning to emerge!

He certainly seems to be stamping them with his distinctive white markings, along with good bone, strong bodies and plenty of presence. Just as pleasing is the way they move, with a lovely, purposeful walk and plenty of freedom through their stride.

It is still early days for Snapback’s first crop, but we couldn’t be happier with what we’re seeing so far. They are attractive, athletic foals with quality—and they certainly know how to catch the eye.

👑 𝗙𝗥𝗢𝗠 “𝗟𝗜𝗭𝗭𝗜𝗘” 𝗧𝗢 𝗔 𝗪𝗜𝗡𝗡𝗘𝗥 👑

A particularly special result for us yesterday, with Queen Sansa breaking through for her first win at Te Aroha.

Bred and sold by Clearview Park, Queen Sansa is by Jon Snow out of Satanya. She only began her racing career in June and has gradually improved with each of her six starts, culminating in a deserved victory yesterday.

Her story began in the early hours of one memorable morning. I had just foaled her and, when I came back inside, read the news that Queen Elizabeth II had passed away. From that moment, her paddock name was “Lizzie.”

The photo is of Lizzie as a foal with my son Alby—a lovely memory to look back on now that she is officially a winner.

We sold her through the Karaka Yearling Sale, and she is now trained by Emma Faber. Congratulations to Emma, winning rider Michael Roustoby and all of Queen Sansa’s connections.

There is always something special about watching a horse you bred, foaled and raised go on to win—and this one carries a story we will never forget. ❤️

𝗔 𝗩𝗘𝗥𝗬 𝗦𝗣𝗘𝗖𝗜𝗔𝗟 𝗙𝗜𝗥𝗦𝗧 𝗔𝗥𝗥𝗜𝗩𝗔𝗟 🖤✨

The 2026 foaling season is officially underway at Clearview Park — and it couldn’t have begun in a more exciting way.

Born yesterday, 31 August, this cracking c**t is not only our first foal of the season, but also the very first foal by 𝗦𝗡𝗔𝗣𝗕𝗔𝗖𝗞.

Out of our black-type mare 𝗚𝗟𝗢𝗕𝗔𝗟 𝗕𝗘𝗔𝗨𝗧𝗬, by Highly Recommended, he has certainly made a memorable first impression. He’s a strong, well-balanced c**t with excellent conformation, plenty of presence and the most remarkable grey-silver sheen to his coat.

It is always exciting welcoming the first foal of a young stallion—but when the result looks like this, it makes the occasion even more special.

A little piece of Snapback history, and a wonderful way to begin the new season. We couldn’t be happier with him. 🐎

𝗗𝗢𝗨𝗕𝗟𝗘 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗔𝗨𝗦𝗦𝗜𝗘 𝗦𝗨𝗖𝗖𝗘𝗦𝗦 𝗙𝗢𝗥 𝗘𝗖𝗛𝗢𝗘𝗦 𝗢𝗙 𝗛𝗘𝗔𝗩𝗘𝗡! 🇦🇺🥇🥇

A great few days across the Tasman with two winners in Australia for 𝗘𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗲𝘀 𝗢𝗳 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝘃𝗲𝗻 — and at opposite ends of the country!

First up was 𝗦𝘄𝘆𝗰𝗵𝗼 (NZ), who recorded her 4th career win over 1500m on the Ballarat synthetic. The 6yo mare is trained by Michael Hickmott and was ridden to victory by Teo Nugent.

Then up on the Sunshine Coast, 𝗕𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗲𝘃𝗲 𝗜𝗻 𝗔𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗹𝘀 made it win number two, scoring over the sharp 1000m for trainer Paul Jenkins and jockey Mark Du Plessis. 👏

From 1000m speed to 1500m versatility, two different winners in two different states — another great advertisement for the toughness and versatility of Echo's progeny.

By Encosta de Lago and a half-brother to champion sire Redoute’s Choice, Echo has the pedigree behind him, while his runners continue to do the talking on the racetrack in New Zealand, Australia and beyond.

With the new breeding season almost upon us, 𝗘𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗲𝘀 𝗢𝗳 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝘃𝗲𝗻 offers South Island breeders a proven opportunity to breed a genuine racehorse right here in the south.

𝗪𝗔𝗧𝗖𝗛 𝗛𝗜𝗠 𝗧𝗔𝗞𝗘 𝗢𝗙𝗙 𝗔𝗧 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝟱𝟬𝟬𝗠! 👀🥇

𝗦𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝗣𝗶𝗲𝗰𝗲 made it two wins in a row with another impressive performance at Warrnambool yesterday.

Taking off around the 500m mark, he swept around the field and simply gobbled them up, powering clear to win the 1700m contest in terrific style. 💥

A great training performance by 𝗔𝗮𝗿𝗼𝗻 𝗣𝘂𝗿𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗹 and a confident ride from 𝗧𝗼𝗺 𝗠𝗮𝗱𝗱𝗲𝗻, who set him alight at exactly the right time.

By 𝗝𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝗻𝗼𝘄 out of Our Sassy Bride, Side Piece continues to thrive in Australia and is building a very impressive winning run.

Two in a row — and he looks to have plenty more ahead of him! ❄️🔥

𝗟𝗢𝗩𝗘 𝗝𝗔𝗡𝗜𝗘 𝗗𝗢𝗘𝗦 𝗜𝗧 𝗔𝗚𝗔𝗜𝗡! 🥇💙

𝗟𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝗝𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗲 added win number four to her record with another determined performance at Awapuni 👏

The 4yo mare by 𝗘𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗲𝘀 𝗢𝗳 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝘃𝗲𝗻 showed her trademark toughness, finishing strongly to claim another deserved victory.

A terrific training performance by Lisa Latta Racing, while 𝗝𝗼𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝗥𝗶𝗱𝗱𝗲𝗹𝗹 produced a polished ride to guide her home.

The winners just keep coming for 𝗘𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗲𝘀 𝗢𝗳 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝘃𝗲𝗻, whose progeny continue to prove themselves as genuine, honest racehorses capable of winning right across New Zealand.

Congratulations to all connections on another outstanding result! 👏

𝗦𝗜𝗗𝗘 𝗣𝗜𝗘𝗖𝗘 𝗠𝗔𝗞𝗘𝗦 𝗜𝗧 𝗪𝗜𝗡 𝗡𝗨𝗠𝗕𝗘𝗥 𝟯!

Jon Snow's son Side Piece continued his terrific season with another dominant victory in Australia, recording his second win of the season and the third of his career.

Racing on a testing Heavy 10 surface, Side Piece relished the conditions, travelling strongly before putting the race beyond doubt and drawing clear to win comfortably.

It's another excellent result for a son of Jon Snow and further proof that his progeny possess the toughness, determination and versatility to perform across a wide range of conditions.

Congratulations to all of Side Piece's connections on another outstanding victory.
