What a day for the Maris Equestrian gals ! 🧡

Blue absolutely delivered in the CCN80, taking out 🥇 I couldn’t be more proud of him - he gave me his absolute all and made the whole day so special. 🏆🧡

And a huge congratulations to Julia and Roman, who had an awesome jolly around the CCN65! It was so lovely watching these two out there having fun and putting everything they’ve been working on into practice. 🐴✨

Firstly, a thankyou to Millie and Julie my “superstar Nannie’s for a day “ helping watch Bailee while I was riding. 🌸

A massive thank you to my wonderful dressage coach Seija from On Top Equestrian for all your guidance and support. Your help with our dressage has made such a difference! 🤍

💗 A VERY SPECIAL FAREWELL TO OUR LOVELY MILLIE💗

We have some bittersweet news to share with our Maris Equestrian family…

After many years of being one of our most loved little school ponies, Millie will be heading off into retirement in a few weeks’ time. 🥹💕

Millie has been such a special part of our riding school and has helped so many of our students learn, grow and gain confidence over the years. From teaching little riders their first lessons, to patiently putting up with wobbly reins, bumpy landings and plenty of pats and cuddles, she has certainly earned her retirement! 🐴💗

She has been a little superstar in so many ways, and we are incredibly grateful for all the memories she has given our riders and our team.

The very best part is that Millie isn’t going far from the things she loves. She’ll be joining her friends in her owners paddock, where she can spend her days enjoying the good life: plenty of grass, the occasional hack, sunshine, friends and absolutely no more lessons! 🌿☀️🐴

We wanted to let all of our students know now so that everyone who has loved Millie over the years has plenty of time to give her some extra-special goodbye cuddles, pats and carrots before she heads off into retirement. 🥰

So if Millie has been part of your riding journey, make sure you give this little legend an extra squeeze next time you see her. ❤️

Contractor Appreciation Post!
As a family who moved from suburbian Sydney to a 10acre lifestyle block in New Zealand, adapting to the demands of the land was no easy task.
However Mike and Miranda from MJ Cable Ag have been there from the start to hold our hand and make sure our land stays happy and healthy.
Everything from new fencing, paddock resting, fertilising, w**d spraying and hay cutting and baling.

What a fantastic way to wrap up the term with our JRA Show Cross Day! 🤍
Our riders took on a dressage test followed by a show cross round, combining showjumping and modified cross country fences - and absolutely rose to the occasion.

Results:

🥈 Equal 2nd - Katherine on Blue (Kindly loaned from Nicole) & Quinn on Lockie
🥉 3rd - Izzy on Roman

So many smiles, so much fun, and such awesome progress from every rider. We’re so proud of you all!
