Well it took much longer than planned but I’m pleased to say I will be able to start taking bookings from September. I may need help with lifting your larger pooches as I’m still a bit unsteady on my feet.
Can’t wait to see you all again. Thank you so much for your patience 🐶💜🐾

UPDATE. I’m now at full capacity for the time being so I’m running a wait list for any more bookings

Whilst I’ve been sitting here with my feet up, I’ve been doing a lot of paint by numbers. A friend suggested that some of my lovely clients might like me to paint a picture of your doggos. If you’re interested I’d just need a photo and I can get that done for you. Here are a few examples of what I’ve been up to. I think they look pretty good!

Back to fracture clinic yesterday. I'm pleased to say I am healing nicely.
I am now able to start to put a bit of weight through my leg but I still have a long way to go. The fracture in my hand is also looking good so I can upgrade to crutches!
I have been signed off for a further 8 weeks which takes us to the end of March.
I've enjoyed seeing all your videos and photos of your home grooms. Sorry to say you'll have to keep up the good work for a little longer yet🐾

It is with much sadness that I have to announce Sue’s Doggy Day Spa will be closed for around the next 4 months.
I have taken a very nasty fall which has left my leg broken in multiple places.
I have a long recovery ahead of me.
I’m not sure yet when I will be out of hospital but it’s definitely going to be a very different Christmas for me this year.

I will have to cancel all appointments I have made with you over the coming months. I recommend that you find another groomer in the meantime and hope that you will come back to me once I am able bodied once more 🤞🤞
2025 has presented me with more than anyone’s fair share of heartache and challenges so roll on 2026. Things can only get better 🐶🐾🐾

Quick announcement. I am in hospital awaiting surgery. I've broken my leg and wrist. I don't think I'll get a chance to message you individually but I will have to cancel all appointments for the next few weeks. I'm so sorry everyone

Here are a few pics of my new grooming area. I’m now full up until I leave for England next week and will be in touch to make bookings once I return at the end of November. I estimate we are only about 3 weeks behind for my regulars 💜🐶

It's been an interesting few weeks coming to your houses to groom your pups. I've been working in your bathrooms, kitchens, laundrys, garages..... Even in the berry shed!
I also took my shoes and socks off to get in the shower with Daisy! That was rather nice on my cold feet!!
I'm pleased to say I am moving into my new home this weekend and will be in touch in due course to get you all booked in again.
There will be a bit of a delay as I now have to fly back to the UK at the end of the month due to a family bereavement but I'm aiming to get as many pups groomed as possible before I leave.
Thank you all so much for your patience 🐾🐾🐩🐶

So today was my final day in the salon. Made easier by the 3 lovely dogs I had visit today.
For the next few weeks I will be doing in house grooming, so if you have somewhere I can bathe your dog and set up my table give me a yell!
After that I will be setting up my new salon so watch this space.
Thanking you in advance for your patience whilst I sort myself out over the next few weeks.
I can't wait to continue grooming all your wonderful pooches in my new home.... In Te Anau!!!
