Waingaro Pony Club Waingaro Pony Club is situated in the picturesque grounds of the Te Akau Complex in the North Waikat This is the public page for Waingaro Pony Club.

We are a small Pony Club based at the Te Akau Community Complex at 616 Te Akau Road, Te Akau. We have 2 annual events each year, our Gamblers Stakes and our ODE. Our grounds are set on the park like Te Akau Golf Course. We enjoy having a range of new cross country jumps to suit all levels of riders.

Congratulation to Nicky and Sue for passing the ECTP B Coaching assessment. There are not many ECTP B coaches in New Zealand and we are very lucky to have 2 at Waingaro.

Congratulations to Laura and Nicki on a successful Brookby Horse trial. The conditions on Sunday for the cross country were challenging and both Laura and Nicki rode impressive rounds.
The classes were all very competitive and dressage scores that would have seen at least top 5 placing at any other Horse Trial, didn't.
The highest placing went to Laura and Kayleb in the CCN95 under 18, with a 5th place with the next best placings going to Nicki and Nippy 7th and PJ 8th in the CCN95 open.
Having 3 horses each, Laura and Nicki were kept very busy all weekend.
Well done and congratulations.
Next up is Taupo 3DE.

Congratulations to Laura on a successful NISS event. Laura and Kayleb placed 4th with 70.1% in 1B and 6th in the Show Hunter.

This year there were 79 teams and approximately 450 riders at NEC in Taupo. The classes were all huge with most divisions being 60 riders.

Congratulations Laura finishing 6th on Abby and 7th on Kayleb in the WEC Express today. Both horses finished on their dressage scores.
