🐈MISSING CAT, POSSIBLY INJURED, RESOLUTION ROAD WELCOME BAY.
This dear wee cat was attacked by a dog and ran away from her home near Resolution Road, about lunchtime yesterday. Her family desperately want to find her. If you think you've seen her, please contact Tiah on 027 451 3254.

Avoid a Spring Flea Explosion! Tauranga’s warm, humid weather creates the perfect conditions for fleas to multiply quickly. By the time you spot fleas on your pet, there may already be plenty hiding in your home and garden.

The best defence is prevention:
✔️ Keep ALL pets on regular flea treatment
✔️ Stay consistent with treatments
✔️ Vacuum regularly and wash pet bedding if fleas are present
✔️ Treat your home environment if you have an infestation

Fleas can also cause flea allergy dermatitis, resulting in intense itching and sore, inflamed skin.

🐾 Found dog – Resolution Road, Welcome Bay 🐾

This young female dog was found in the middle of the road on Resolution Road, Welcome Bay today. She doesn’t have a microchip, but she is incredibly friendly, gorgeous and very well behaved. 💕

She’s safe and being looked after at Welcome Bay Vets for the day while we try to find her owners.

If you recognise her or know who she belongs to, please get in touch with us as soon as possible. Call us on 07 544 2604

If her owners aren’t located or she isn’t collected, we will need to contact the pound.

🐢 Meet Miss Turtle! 🐱💚

Miss Turtle had a pretty rough start to life. As a stray kitten, she was attacked by a large dog and suffered serious wounds to her belly and back.

She needed surgery to repair her injuries, and as part of her surgical preparation, she received a little haircut. The result? A very distinctive look that made her resemble a tiny turtle shell! 🐢😻

Thankfully, Miss Turtle made a full recovery and has since gone on to become a much-loved member of her family. 💕

We’re so happy to see this brave little girl thriving after such a difficult start!

🐾 Meet cute wee Picnic! 🥹💕

Picnic was feeling a little nervous about her visit to the clinic, so her lovely big black mate, Engine, came along as her very own assistance animal. 🐈‍⬛

Engine is harness-trained, so he doesn’t need to travel in a cage — and this absolute legend even jumped up onto the table beside Picnic to help her feel safe. 🥰

He’s a bit of a “dog-cat” and clearly takes his support duties very seriously!

Isn’t this just the sweetest thing? ❤️🐾
