With fully equipped examination rooms, diagnostic machines and pharmaceutical stores, we provide on-the-spot assistance for nearly all pet health and medical needs. Cameron Road Veterinary Clinic has been an integral part of our local community for many years. In that time, we’ve help support animal welfare groups, local schools, Polytech students, swimming clubs and surf lifesaving. 🐦 Bird Flu: A reminder to stay vigilant

While bird flu (H5N1) has not been detected in the Bay of Plenty, it's important for all New Zealanders to know what to do if they come across a sick or dead wild bird.

If you see one:
❌ Don't touch or move it.
📞 Report it to MPI on 0800 80 99 66.
🐕 Keep pets, especially dogs, away from sick or dead birds.

If your pet has had contact with a sick or dead bird, please give your local CareVets clinic a call for advice before bringing them in.
