Marilyn — 9yo TB Mare

Lovely approx. 15.2hh, 9-year-old TB mare, by Darci Brahma out of Rivereena.

Marilyn came to me after having been in turnout and is now back in consistent work. She is becoming reasonably established on the flat, holds a lovely rhythm in her canter and has started confidently working over small fences.

She is an absolute pleasure to ride and would be a straightforward ride for a competent, confident rider. She would make a lovely horse for someone wanting to continue her education and develop her further in their chosen discipline.

She has an old, large splint on her near fore and currently has a few superficial grazes to her hind legs, courtesy of some mare-ish antics.

Marilyn is great to handle and easy to have around, with a few typical TB traits.

Happy to discuss all of the above openly with anyone genuinely interested.

🐴 WORKING STUDENT OPPORTUNITY — 2-3 DAYS A WEEK

Looking for a capable and confident horse person to join me a few days a week who is keen to gain more hands-on experience and exposure in the equine industry.

This would ideally suit someone who is on study leave, has finished school for the year, or is looking to further their knowledge and experience working with horses.

You’ll need to already be confident handling a variety of horses, with good riding experience preferred.

The role will include:
• General yard duties
• Preparing and handling horses
• Taking horses out and about
• Riding opportunities for the right person

In return, you’ll receive regular tuition and coaching, along with plenty of hands-on experience and the opportunity to learn more about training, riding, horse management and working within the industry.

This is an unpaid working student position, 2-3 days per week.

If you’re reliable, hardworking, confident working with horses and keen to learn, send me a message with a little bit about yourself, your horse experience and riding background.

A new day and time for Adults group - TBC

Hi all,

I’d love your thoughts on a couple of schedule tweaks to help make my group sessions more accessible for everyone: 🗓️🕝

Would a different day or time work better for the Adults Group on Thursdays at 10am?

And for the Riders Reformer Pilates on Tuesdays at 2:30pm - would a Friday 6pm session be more convenient?

Would love to hear your feedback so we can shape the timetable to suit you best! 💬e n
