Mental health matters. For our team. For our clients.

Veterinary care can come with emotional and challenging moments. Our teams support pets and their families through life’s highs and lows, and we know it can be an emotional experience for clients too.

This World Mental Health Day, we’re recognising the importance of looking after the people behind the pets.

It’s okay to have difficult days, ask for support and take a moment to look after yourself. 🐾

Next time you’re in practice, you may notice this poster displayed in our consult rooms and other animal centres around our community.

The Safe Dog Walk Guide is a community initiative created by our vet, Alex.
With growing concerns around dog attacks in our community, Alex developed this poster to help raise awareness about the etiquette of responsible dog walking.

Alex reached out and received valuable input from local dog trainers, other local veterinary practices and even our local MP, tomrutherford_bop.

The poster is now being distributed to local veterinary practices and pet establishments for display with the hope of spreading these simple messages throughout our community.

Small changes make a big difference. Please take a moment to read, share and help promote better walks for safer dogs throughout our community.

💙🐾 HAPPY VETERINARY NURSE DAY!🐾💙

Today we’re celebrating the incredible veterinary nurses who are the heart of our clinics.

From comforting nervous patients and caring for hospitalised pets, to assisting with surgery, supporting our vets and reassuring pet parents — our nurses do so much, often behind the scenes. 🩺

Being a vet nurse takes compassion, patience, resilience and an enormous amount of heart. ❤️

To all our wonderful veterinary nurses, thank you for the care, dedication and love you give to every patient, every day. We couldn’t do it without you! 🐶🐱🐾
