Fleas can be surprisingly easy to miss on cats 🐱

👉 To check your cat, gently part the fur around the neck, back and base of the tail. Look for fleas or tiny black specks called flea dirt.

👉 Run a flea comb through the coat, then tap anything collected onto damp white paper or a damp cotton pad. If the specks leave a reddish-brown mark, it could be flea dirt.

👉 Whether you find signs of fleas or not, regular protection matters. Shop long-lasting BRAVECTO® flea protection for cats at vetpost.co.nz.

Orders containing BRAVECTO PLUS earn two entries into our 11th Birthday Giveaway to win a 2026 MG4 Urban Essence 🚗 Entries close 3 November 2026. Winner drawn 4 November 2026.
