• Keep the water warm and stable with a heater (24–28°C)
• Use a gentle filter so the current isn’t too strong
• Add plants and hiding spots to help your betta feel secure
• Cycle the tank before adding your fish
• Test water regularly and do weekly water changes

Betta splendens / Siamese Fighter Fish

Siamese fighter fish, also called Betta fish, are popular freshwater fish known for their bright colors and flowing fins.

Basic betta set up:
• At least a 20L aquarium
• A heater (76–82°F / 24–28°C)
• A gentle filter
• Clean, treated water

Male Bettas are territorial and are best kept alone. With proper care, they can live 3–5 years.
