We will be closed this Friday 27th March as Martin is away at a conference. He will also be on annual leave next week leading up to Easter. We will reopen on Tuesday 7th April.

Hi, I’m Lucie (Martin’s vet nurse) with 6 years’ experience, especially with exotic pets like rabbits, guinea pigs, reptiles, and birds. I’ve started Critter Wellness and Pet Sitting with Lucie to give your pets gentle, stress-free care at home.

✨ Services I offer:
✅ At-home care for exotics – nail clips, giving meds, SQ fluids, hygiene grooms, palliative care
✅ Pet sitting – for exotics, cats, and dogs (plus dog walking)
✅ Pet taxi – safe transport to the vet (and I can stay to help during the visit if needed)
✅ Home visits for cats & dogs – nail clips, medication, weight checks, palliative care

I know exotic pets need extra knowledge and cats often get anxious at the clinic — that’s where I come in. 🐇🦎🐾

Dear clients, I just wanted to let you know that we will no longer be open on Wednesday mornings.

We are still open on Tuesdays and Fridays for appointments and surgeries, so please phone us on 0800838397 if you need to book something.

On days that we are not open, the phone will be answered by our friendly colleagues in Hamilton or by our Bay After Hours team if outside of normal working hours or in the weekends.

We will be closed from the 22nd of August until the 28th of August as Dr Martin will be away at a conference.
We have appointments and surgery slots available on Tuesday the 12th, Friday the 15th and Tuesday the 19th.
