6 months old | Bonded sisters seeking a forever home together.

Shelby (aka our little bob-cat lookalike with no tail) is the lap cat of the duo. If she’s not curled up next to you, she’s peering around the corner, searching for her next cuddle opportunity.

She has the sweetest little grin, and squeezes her eyes shut when she wants affection.

Ash is the adventurer. She likes to start with a good frolic, investigating every interesting corner before sauntering over for pats and company. She’s playful, curious, and brings just the right amount of mischief to the partnership.

The girls are closely bonded so take comfort in having one another nearby. They can be a little wary to begin with, and we wouldn’t place them in a busy household. A quieter home with mature children or a calm, understanding family would suit them best.

Two sisters, still kittens though out of the ‘kitten stage’, and one very special friendship 🖤🤍

Introducing for adoption….. 🏡🖤

Nyx, Mistress of Midnight Zoomies, Devourer of Shoelaces, First of Her Name.

And

Lilith, High Priestess of Chaos, Slayer of Twine, Breaker of Peace and Quiet.

When these two arrived, they were tiny, silent shadows. We thought perhaps we’d rescued two gentle little goths.

We were, of course, spectacularly wrong.

Together, these pint sized harbingers of chaos race through the house, launch surprise attacks on each other, and treat every room like it’s the stage at a sold out metal concert.

They’re full time entertainers.

At the end of it all, they curl up together in a little pile of black fluff and fall asleep cuddling.

That’s also when the humans can weigh in with their pats.

Tiny hell raisers. Big personalities.

We’d love to see adopted to a home that appreciated their soul and sass.

Respectful minions (kids) and hell hounds (dogs) welcome.

Friends describe me as energetic, affectionate, and “a lot” (in the best possible way). I’m the kind of guy who’ll keep you laughing with my surprise attacks and impressive hallway sprinting abilities.

I’m very family oriented and believe quality time is important. Whether that’s following you from room to room, supervising your work from your lap, or helping rearrange your laptop cables, I like to stay involved.
I enjoy meeting other animals and put myself out there enthusiastically. Sometimes my older foster siblings aren’t quite ready for my level of commitment to playtime, but I remain optimistic.

Winston had a checkup to track his healing post dental and we’re stoked to report that he’s doing great! … now it’s time to meet the tiny sponsors we hope will help us fundraise.

These orchard babies were recently found in Katikati, doing their best to brave the cold. They’ve made it safely into care, and mum is next on the list to be trapped so she can start her own journey toward a brighter future.

How would we describe Nugget’s personality?

Orange.

Not “orange cat energy” in the occasional sense. Orange as a lifestyle choice.

He’ll be the kind of cat the whole neighbourhood knows by name. The busy body who’ll somehow ends up supervising projects he wasn’t invited to and sweet talking delivery drivers halfway through their route.

For reasons known only to him, his short fur permanently looks like he’s just stepped out of a salon after an aggressive blow dry.

Nugget is delightfully naughty. Never malicious, just… creatively involved in everything you’re doing. If there’s a lap available, he’ll find it. If there’s attention focussed elsewhere, he’ll prioritise it. As a rule, if it’s a thing he’ll probably investigate why it exists.

Before rescue, Nugget lived as a stray and learned that people weren’t always guaranteed. Because of that, you’ll need to earn his trust.

But once you do?

You’re his person.

He’ll seek you out, curl up beside you, climb into your lap and make it very clear that you’ve been chosen. And once Nugget loves you, there’s really no shaking him.

If you’re looking for a cat with personality, charm, questionable decision making skills and a heart of gold, Nugget might just be your guy 🐈

🌶️ Meet Tobasco, Jalapeño and Wasabi 🌶️

As you can probably imagine, when they first came into our care, their flavour was spicy!

Fortunately, they were still at an age where they were negotiable to their opinions about the world, and their foster mum did a fabulous job convincing them that hands were for gentle scratches, not something to be feared.

Before long, they were seeking out laps, attention and company, trading their skepticism for affection.

Had they come into care just 2–4 weeks later, their story may have looked very different.

Socialisation becomes more complex as kittens grow older, and survival behaviours become more deeply ingrained.

Their story is a reminder that early intervention matters.

If you spot kittens living outdoors, please reach out sooner rather than later. The earlier help is offered, the more options there are for both the kittens and the people trying to help them.

Some kittens demand to be the centre of attention. Willow is perfectly happy being herself.

This tuxie girl has a quiet confidence about her. Independent and self-assured, when she’s on her own she’s happy to spend her days exploring, investigating new spaces, and finding the perfect spot to watch the world go by.

With company, she enjoys knowing what her people are up to and will often wander over to check in. She’s the sort of companion who quietly becomes part of your daily routine, offering company without demanding it.

A quieter home with space to roam and explore would suit her beautifully, giving her the freedom to settle in and let her personality shine ✨

And if you’ve been thinking about adopting a pair, even better. Hazel is also looking for a home, and we’d love to see these girls find families who appreciate them for exactly who they are.
