Announcement of Closure.

After eight wonderful years, The Bark Inn will be closing permanently at the end of February 2026.

This decision has not come easily. The retreat has been a place of joy, connection and shared love for our small companions. But after a year of battling further ongoing health challenges, it is time for me to prioritise my wellbeing.

I will be honouring all existing bookings through to the end of February.

To every family who trusted me with their beloved dogs, thank you. Your support has meant the world. To our regulars, our Bark Inn family, you will always hold a special place in my heart.

Though this chapter is closing, the spirit of The Bark Inn lives on in every pawprint left on our hearts.

No photos from this morning due to the rain. Bertie, Floyd, Meeka and Pup had a lovely day if a little disturbed due to the rain and high winds. We listened to some beautiful classical music during the worst of the weather and then played in The Wonderland Play Park and Adventure Playground with some scent work in The Zen Den.
