We are thrilled to announce the safe arrival of a perfect leggy chestnut filly with bling at 3am this morning! By Seek The Riches she looks like her sire, but already showing her dam’s, Hobby’s Dark Angel, beautiful loving and trusting temperament. Lots of unfolding to do but making all her milestones so far. A perfect combination we will call Rayna ( Yes, I’m a Nashville fan).

After a very fast but textbook delivery, at a civilised 10pm, Rosa ( Blazing Invite) foaled a tall chestnut filly. Very much the image of Daddy, Richie (Seek the Riches). Petal is doing all the things she should and Rosa is being an awesome mama.

Fabulous news today. Courtesy of our talented Veterinarian, Carin de Groot, we are pleased to announce that both Blazing Invite and Classy Jewel are confirmed in foal to Seek The Riches. 2 for 2 is good going Richie!!

Today we underscored the Circle of Life. After welcoming the safe arrival of a new foal yesterday, today we farewelled our old Matriarch. Just a Zip of Sugar. Sugar really was one of those "one-in-a-million" horses. Never a kinder, more honest horse than her. Anyone, from infant grandchildren to an elderly person who just wanted to be horseback once more, our severely disabled daughter, and every person in between, experienced or never having been near or on a horse. Sugar took them all and carefully adjusted herself to be the safest ride ever, but still with plenty to give when Mama hopped aboard. I learned so much from her. Later in life I bred three stunning foals from her, Cee I'm Too Hot To Zip ( Sammy), Cee I'm Zippin Sugar (Cody) and Fancy Some Sugar ( Bella). If they turn out to be half the horses their Dam was, then they will be great horses! Farewell my sweet Sugar, Thank you for the Love.😢💔
