Janine is a 2006 veterinary graduate from Massey University with over 15 years in practice. In addition, she has furthered her expertise with the International Academy of Veterinary Chiropractic and is a member of the Veterinary Society of Chiropractic. Based in Swannanoa, North Canterbury and specialising in equine, canine and feline services, Janine is bringing a modern, diversified and friendly approach to improving your animal’s wellbeing. Animal chiropractic is a manual therapy that focuses on the neuromuscular skeletal system and involves adjustments on restricted or fixated joints. It can assist in alleviating pain or spasms that may be limiting your animal’s movements and even affecting their behaviour. Used in conjunction with traditional veterinary care, chiropractic is an effective and valuable means of restoring and maintaining your animal’s strength, agility, and well-being. Just like people, our animals can suffer from joint pain and restrictions. This can easily lead to added stress on other joints, muscle complications and a poor quality of life. It makes sense that if we can benefit from a chiropractic approach, they can too.
